Palin in 2012!

Plain 'no' her political career may be too fragile.

I think we've had enough of Palin. She has little or nothing of substance to offer, except the usual Republican talking points. Guns, God and Mooseburgers.

Palin in 2012! Ensure President Obama's re-election!

If the republicans can't do better than Palin, then they need to stay home.
The republicans need to come into the 21st Century and see that people aren't the same as they were in 1920.
Life evolves with the future. Damn that's evolution. Republicans will never change then. < :-)

Palin/Broun in 2012!

Palin wouldn't be a bad person to have run. Certainly she would be better then many of the other candidates. 2012 is a long ways off. At this point, way too early to be talking about potential Presidential candidates.
The one thing the Republicans need, is someone who represents conservative values. Not just socially, the whole guns, god thing, but fiscally as well. Lower taxes, a smaller better government. One that isn't a nanny.

the usual Republican talking points. Guns, God and Mooseburgers." There can't be such a thing as mooseburgers. Perhaps she may eat them, but you can't tell me any normal person would eat such an animal.
As for the god thing, you need to revise your statement. The Christian god thing. Right now I see a lot of "muslim" schools going up in the US (New York, DC, and Chicago). Take your pick which is better, I'm still waiting for the true person, the atheist. First Atheist to run gets my vote.

Just imagine Palin in a serious debate with Obama. The fact that the Republicans see Palin as the savior of the party speaks volumes about how confused they are.
Helter_Skelter: Broun is the guy who claims that Obama will turn America into a Marxist state. He then went on to make comparisons between Obama and Adolf Hitler. How rational is this guy?

"The Alaska governor has indirectly but unmistakably put her name in play as a potential presidential candidate, saying she’ll “plow through that door” if it’s God’s will and conditions are right."
It's up to you to create your own opportunities, not to wait for them to fall in your lap from god. She's already setting the stage to lose again.
"While McCain has kept a low profile since last Tuesday’s election, Palin has spoken forcefully to deny any responsibility for her ticket’s loss. She has blamed the policies of President George W Bush, the handicap of representing the incumbent party and America’s financial crisis for the Republican defeat."
sarge: based on the above quotation, is Palin right, or was bush right? I notice you didn't answer the question yesterday, so I'm curious as to whom you think is correct. You can't say both, because they contradict one another and Palin outright blames bush's policies as being wrong and at fault for the republican loss. So, what is it?
"Palin in 2012!"
I see you're continuing to make your predictions despite being wrong 99% of the time. Well, I guess that means the rest of us can start placing our bets on the opposite ticket. Won't be much of a return, since everyone will be betting AGAINST you, but it's still very easy money.
As for Palin running, I seriously hope she does. Nothing will guarantee more infighting in the fragile and cracking GOP, and nothing will guarantee more a solid Democratic reelection. Go, Palin, go!!!

Helter: "Palin/Broun in 2012!"
Now THAT would DEFINITELY guarantee not only a Democratic victory, but something like a 95% vote for the Democratic party (popular) and 500 or so Electoral Votes. What's more, it would fully cement the demise of the Republican party as an entity, and forever seal its place in the history books as one of the most comical ventures in American history.

Hardly. After four years of oppression under socialism, Americans will see Palin as nothing short of their savior. Palin/Broun - what a nightmare ticket for the neo-Marxists. :-D

I don't know who Broun is, so I really wouldn't feel confident about that Ticket. Not only that, but I sincerely hope there is someone better then Palin out there. Not that I don't think Palin would make a decent President. Ideologically, shes much more conservative the Bush or McCain are. And far more so then Obama. Judging by that alone, it makes her the ideal candidate. Having said that though, not sure how I would view her as CinC. We'll see.

According to the lady herself:“I'll plow through that door, if it’s God’s will." Meaning, if it's God's will, she will run again in 2012. An odd phrase, to say the least. Let's hope God will, as he did this time, slam the door in her face. Chill baby, Chill.

Does Mrs Palin think that the election is decided by God? If so, then she should be right behind president-elect Obama, cheering him on as The Chosen One.
That line of thinking also tells us of course that from God's point of view she is The Rejected One.
Funny how these Christian fundies only ever see what they want to see.

Another great day just knowing that this Evita want-a-be is no where near the Oval office.
Yes yes she has no responsibility for the bad taste her ideas left the American people. Sure she did not know what the Vice Presidents responsibilities were.
Let us see who this diva blames for her not getting within a heart beat away from the Oval office;
The media
President Bush
McCains staff
McCain
Every person who voted against her
Canadian Radio Pranksters
Katie Couric
Talking to reporters
Speaking
Did I miss anything?
She would have to lead a coup to try and become the nominee but I for one wish she does become the nominee in 2012, 2016 and 2020.
Because if this Evita want-a-be does get the Republican nomination those years that means that their will be a Democrat in the White house.
I for one do not want to see another Republican in the White House until all the Neo-Con far right wingers are all gone from the party. Also add the far right Christian Conservatives to that list.
When the Fiscal Conservatives take back the Republican party I may vote for them then. But before then I will not vote for another Republican again.
Yeah she and her husband could join the AIP and try to make ALASKA their own little dictatorship.LOL
ALASKA!!!!LOL What the hell was McCain thinking!!!LOL

Molenir: Nice last post. I don't agree with Palin being a good choice, however, but do agree that there must be better out there for the Republican party.
Cleo: Good post. Very true. I posted something similar awhile back about how radical Christians only ever see what they want to see in relation to god (not limited to Christianity, of course). As I said in a similar post above on this thread, as well, if she needs god to open her doors for her she's doing a pretty poor job, and proves that she is not at all qualified to lead the country on her own.

Sarah Palin is the second most popular politician in America and in the world at the moment.

Well known does not equal popular.
She's probably about level with Ron Paul in terms of support.

Who wouldn't be? a few idiots aside, of course. Obama want and can achieve peace through dialogue instead of war. Any fool who is against that and wants more war, particularly another nation, is nothing but a fool with something more to lose.

"Who wouldn't be? a few idiots aside, of course."
Like Bill and Hill?
"Obama want and can achieve peace through dialogue instead of war."
Did Putin give Georgia the chance to dialogue first?
Would he give Obama the chance if Russia decides to move on another of its former satellites?
"Any fool who is against that and wants more war, particularly another nation, is nothing but a fool with something more to lose."
Can't argue with a fool, can you?

Heh, I join you in embracing a Sarah Palin presidential bid in 2012.
Nothing else could cement the Democratic party's majority than having her run for president. LOL!!
What were Republicans thinking???

Last I heard was Palin wanted to attack Russia.
Or was it just 'invade'?
LOL!!!!

powderfinger: "Like Bill and Hill?"
I said anyone who would be upset over Obama's White House win. I did exclude idiots though, so I guess that accounts for your post.
"Did Putin give Georgia the chance to dialogue first?"
Here's a wee bit of news for you: Putin is the president of Russia... or was, anyway. He wasn't the President when Russia attacked Georgia, and last I checked he wasn't the USA. You're right in a way though, GWB does resemble Putin in a lot of his bombast, policies, and war-mongering ways; the difference being of course that Putin is a smooth talking and intelligent individual. Obama and Putin? aside from both being smart and good speakers, not one iota alike.
Please come back and comment when you feel like growing up a little. You're a new guy on this site, and we forgive you for the pain you must be feeling at the loss of McCain/Palin, but don't go linking comments with completely unrelated crap just because you're sad.

president Bush has just said: ""The election of Barack Obama is an historic moment for our country," Bush said. "There are a lot of people in America who did not believe they would ever see this day.
"It is good for our country that people have hope in the system and feel vested in the future and President-elect Obama has a great opportunity," Bush said."
Nowhere does he mention Sarah Palin :-)

"Last I heard was Palin wanted to attack Russia"
Sheesh, some people believe anything.
How about this scenario: Palin may not run for president as a Republican. She might just start the Conservative Party, which would rout both the Democrat and the Republican Party. The Democrats would then have to beg the Republicans to join them in a grand coalition to try to unseat the Conservatives in 2016...
0

Palin was eye candy with a conservative tongue. She did the best she could. I do believe that. People wanted something different then what her party had to offer.

That is the funniest pipe dream I have ever read. The Conservative party? LOL That is almost as laughable as when John McCain picked the Maverick known as Palin to be his running mate.
As I stated before Palin I do wish that Palin tries to run for President in 2012. I would love it if she got the Far Right nomination to represent the Republicans.
But I fear that she will not have the backing to make a run for it. She would have to stand and fight against the other want-a-be Presidents that will make a run for it. They will eat her alive before the primary was over.
So my dream of a Palin/? 2012 is also as big of a pipe dream as Sarge`s so called Conservative party.
