Devouring into the fantasy like a romance novel. Welcome to the world of infidelity. This sounds like more fun than watching his apology speech in the press conference.

It happens. He was the up amd coming republican presidential candidate that just pulled his name out of the running.

Was it worth it? < :-)

    Hmmm....

This is "very damaging stuff," Sanford declared at one point, when details of Clinton's conduct became known. "I think it would be much better for the country and for him personally (to resign)... I come from the business side," he said. "If you had a chairman or president in the business world facing these allegations, he'd be gone."

Explaining his decision to back impeachment articles against Clinton, he added, "I think what he did in this matter was reprehensible... I feel very comfortable with my vote."

Apparently his impeachment vote was not the only thing the governor feels comfortable with.

Ah yes, the moral majority showing their true colors. This guy was just another knock down for the far right. As the rounds keep passing the more and more they look like nothing more than want-a-bes.

The other contenders for the title of king of the Republican party is slowly getting thinner....Who will be next to fall, anyone taking bets?LOL

Hey come on people, start acting like men, if you haven't seen the picture of the girl I think we should give the guy a pass. I wasn't upset that Clinton cheated, I was pissed at WHAT he cheated with. So, since the lady is from Argentina, I can assume she was fine! And if proven right, he is a few notches higher than Clinton in my book. Now for the real part of the story, how did she look?

The other contenders for the title of king of the Republican party is slowly getting thinner....Who will be next to fall, anyone taking bets?" I'll do it if the money is right!

My attitude toward men who mess around is simple: If you find 'em, kill 'em.

    --Loretta Lynn

You know that the Tasmanians, who never committed adultery, are now extinct.

    --W. Somerset Maugham

Gov. Sanford's affair? None of my business. Monogamy may be the law, but it's not the rule. Our attempts to make it otherwise are futile unless we pursue Loretta Lynn's approach and then we may end up like the Tasmanians.

I would like to know who leaked the emails, though--and why.

Yuck. I have no problem with people getting a little on the side, but all that sentimental drivel makes me want to puke.

To be completely honest, I almost feel for the guy. Not that I condone what he did, but I do not think he is real stable.

His actions leading up to this seem like he is in the midst of a crisis. He goes AWOL, tells his wife he is going hiking but is later spotted returning on a flight from Argentina.

Then he dances a bit then comes clean. Real odd actions....

that's where he messed up. If it had been me, I would have denied that I was said person! Let this be a lesson for you young guys, never ever come clean.

Where's that last shining bastion of Republican common sense, intelligence and decency, Sarah Palin, when you need her? :-)

Keith Olbermann was reading out on MSNBC to all his idiot fans some very intimate e-mails this guy Sanford sent to his mistress.

Weren't "Liberals" opposed to FISA and the possibility that our e mail would no longer be completely private?

    susisake's obsession continues:

Where's that last shining bastion of Republican common sense, intelligence and decency, Sarah Palin, when you need her?

She's at the top of opinion polls among Republicans, with Romney in second.

A clear sign that the far right Repub's are rowing their boat with only one oar. If those two are all they have left, then they are more than dead....They are also stuffed....LOL

The media are going to see to it Sanford pays for John Edwards' mistake.
