Heh, so it seems that stuff about it merely being Republicans against the resolution was incorrect.

    I'm against the resolution, also. < :-)

There are more than enough serious matters to argue about without this. I make no judgement on Michael Jackson, but Jackson Lee’s resolution is simply trouble making for the sake of trouble making.

    Tosaken,

You stated my exact feelings in a far less wordy way than I ever would have. I'm jealous. ;-)

    Tosaken,

Belay my last. I thought you were talking about peter king making trouble for trouble's sake. My bad.

Good. Nothing against Michael Jackson, but congress shouldn't be wasting time over this. There is real work to do.

Why do we need congress to do anything like this anyway?

There are enough fans out there to do something; better than what the gov can do anyway.

The truth about MJ has been out there for years. What his own sister La Toya said about him is evidence enough for me.

MJ RIP! Nobody is perfect, no MJ, not Elvis etc..were are all just mortal humans and I agree with Pelosi, this is not the time to make resolutions about MJ.

The republicants strike again, but this time they are right. Bigger fish to fry now like healthcare reform and getting the hell out of Iraq.

You mean Pelosi finally came to her senses and became a Republican? I know it takes a newborn puppy a few days before their eyes open but...

“I don’t think it’s necessary for us to have a resolution.”

Smartest thing I've ever heard Nancy say. Good for her. Now go one step further and ask if the American taxpayers are paying our representatives to be debating and passing resolutions about pop stars.
