Sounds like the whole organisation at Penn State were condoning the rape and sodomizing of young boys. I hope many of the coaches and staff receive life in prison.

This is a travesty. There was more than one incident, more than one witness, including victim testimony. Send him to jail for life.

I played sports all throughout school and we never had a coach come and shower with us after practice. This guy obviously had a problem and now he should pay the price. I truly feel sorry for his victims.

i'm sorry but you don't "hug and touch" naked boys in the shower as an adult. that alone should get him 5 to 10 years in prison.

The investigation has been going on since 2008. It all began with a mother's complaint. I have no idea if the boy was complaining.
It took two years for McQueary to step forward with his sodomy story. And investigators still have not got a clue who that boy was. Not a clue. I have a feeling this guy with the lovely name of McQueary might be inventing whistleblowing material to save his own skin. Hard to tell.
All I know for sure is that emotions are going to make this whole thing into a circus of blind assumption. The hard questions are not going to be asked, much less answered. About the only thing in Sandusky's favor is that the boys are all grown up now, and some of them just might speak the truth even if the people don't like it.

Basically a normal buy wouldn't want to shower with guys and hug them.
I bet many more victims will come forward. I'm always amazed that kids don't belt adults when they are molested, but I've never been in the situation so I guess I can't say.

Here is my million dollar question. You walk into a shower and see two people you know. How do you know for sure that one is being sodomized...but you only know for sure who one of the people is? You have to be close and have a good angle to actually know for sure someone is actually being sodomized. You don't know if they are dry humping or what. What you see in porn are angles that don't come easy. And remember, the boy is still unidentified, so its not like we have his testimony.
Are they too touchy feely in a court to ask such a question? Too prim and proper?

Another crank with a wide stance in the toilet. Words escape me to describe what this man is accused of.

This guy is nothing but a pedophile. He's full of horsesh**!

Dry humping a 10 year old in the shower while both are naked is not even 0.0000% better than this guy sodomizing him. Both are extremely deviant and should result in a very lengthy prison sentence.
Go read the grand jury report and see if you think this is something made up by McQueary. There are many, many victims, there's tons of evidence.

I've read the indictment. Pretty graphic stuff from a variety of witnesses.

What happened to the American presumption of innocence? He should have his day in court and after that. There is something call "due process" before punishment is handed out.

Who is punishing him? He gets his day in court, we get our opinions that he is a scumbag kiddie rapist. No dissonance there.

I'm going to assume for your sake that you haven't read the Grand Jury's Findings of Fact. That's the only excuse I can think of for your comments above. I suggest you read the linked Grand Jury Report and reconsider.

USNinJapan2, grand jury is not a determination of guilt but to proceed with trial. Admit it does not look good for him but would be happy when he is found guilty. Then he can be sentenced and those who failed the kids by not speaking up will have their day in court. Have not spent a lot of time on this case and will leave it to the government officials. All I am saying is due process needs to be done.

Is he on trial to determine if he is pedophile or if he broke the law? Since this is the U.S. we are talking about, could be either. Remember this is the same country that jailed a female bus driver for killing babies in satanic rituals where people flew in the air, between school and scheduled stops, or some such nonsense, all based on the eyewitness testimony of a six year old.
USNinJapan2, if there was anything in there confirming the specific allegation mentioned, you would have provided more than a link. And that is most serious allegation I know of. Yet, there is no physical evidence, no complaining mum, and most of all, no boy.
If you know something we don't, be specific. Don't throw us a PDF smokescreen and waltz on.

What makes you think due process isn't being done? My personal opinion isn't relevant to the authorities.

Agreed. I am 100 percent certain everyone here agrees totally that this awful man - Sandusky - and all of his fellow coaches, including the truly awful McQueary and evil Joe Paterno - should spend the rest of their lives in prison. And let's all hope and pray that when they enter "The Big House" all of their fellow prisoners are made well aware that they are child abusers and sodomists. Penn State should absolutely be shut down over this scandal.

SuperLib, most people write like he has already been found guilty.

I don't think an equus fetish counts as horseplay.
This sounds horrific.
A friend of mine from Philly wrote a post on Facebook, titled "Say it ain't so, Joe."
He is really, like a lot of us, having a hard time, seeing JoePa in this new light. Joe was an educator of young men. He wasn't just a coach, he was a molder of men. He was a good Catholic. He was humble, up until a few years ago, he walked across campus to home games from his home. He was a real role model.
Real role models don't turn a blind eye. When they report something, they don't just kick the problem upstairs, they follow through, because they are the molder's of men and the molder's of men lead by example..
It was really detailed. I didn't do it justice. He's really sick over this. Torn between wanting to believe something versus accepting the truth.
I think a lot of people in Pennsylvania and throughout the country, if you liked college football, are going through those conflicting emotions regarding Joe Paterno.

Did you yourself bother to read the Findings of Fact to which the link takes you? Sandusky has been charged with multiple counts of child sexual abuse. The charges leveled against Sandusky are a direct result of the Grand Jury's findings. I'm not throwing a PDF smokescreen, I'm merely suggesting to anyone who dismisses the allegations offhand that they read the Grand Jury's report first before coming to the defense of an alleged pedophile for whom damning evidence is stacking up pretty high. 8 alleged victims of child sexual abuse in varying degrees, and counting. If you read the Findings of Fact that link takes you to in its entirety and still honestly believe (in your opinion of course) that Sandusky has not committed any acts of pedophilia, then I've got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.
