If the gov't buys and flies 2,400 of these planes, it will cost taxpayers $1.5 trillion.

This doesn't help much with reducing the gov't's $16.6 trillion debt...

There hasn't been a military jet that 'didn't ' see cracks on engine blades. But this particular jet is the biggest boondoggle recently.

The F-35 is the Pentagon’s most expensive weapons program at a total estimated cost of nearly $400 billion.

A lot of money for a weapon we don't need in a country that is technically very, very bankrupt.
