They're on it, just not releasing information to the public. But I do agree with you, I hope they get the perp soon.

He was taken into custody but not arrested. People that cheered the guy being taken away could be suspects too if they hung out with him. Remember, in America, innocent until proven guilty.

Wouldn't it be funny if the technician turned out to be not the suspect? That would make some awkward neighborly moments! Haha!

I find it disturbing that people cheered when their neighbor was taken away before being proven guilty.

At 24 she has just started to become a productive member of her family, of society..now she is murdered! I feel the extreme pain suffered by her family. R.I.P Ms Le.

This. Was the man unpopular or something? Usually is shock and "I can't believe it, he seemed like a nice guy" as per the quote in the article. I sure hope its not just becuase people want to see someone swing for this. The pressure to find the culprit, and find him ASAP must be enormous. I sure hope they get the right guy.

The cheering was probably more of a relief-reaction than any hate of the guy in particular. When there is a murder in your neighborhood, the stress level increases. Seeing someone being taken away releases that stress, even if it's not the actual perp. I agree, though, that it's going to be awkward if he's released and he sees those people.

I also think it's pretty disturbing to see people cheering at this point. What an odd reaction. Wait until all of the facts are in before deciding to hang and quarter someone. You don't have to look any further than the front page here on JT, to see an example of alleged justice that has gone completely off the rails (Sugaya Toshikazu's case).

The cops have released this guy almost as quickly so who knows what is going on. It's going to be very ackward in the apartment complex.

Freaks & Geeks- I cannot speculate if he commited the crime or not. But I knew a student living there committed the crime. Either he was jealous or was rejected, or didn't know how to communicate to women. Its great someone was caught. If the police didn't catch the perp or anybody they would have had a serial killer in their mists. He would have done it to someone else.
