Fujimori should've stuck it out in Japan longer so he'd be eligible for that Y300,000 towards a ticket back to Peru.

Japan will abandon any reference now to their former favourite son Fujimori's previous ancestry, he's just a Peruvian convict now...

Knowing this, the LDP still wanted to recruit him, even though he wasn't Japanese. Amazing.

He will either have a heart attack in the next few months or he will be pardoned when his daughter takes over, either way he isn’t going to do 25 years.

““What this verdict says is that these crimes did in fact happen and that Fujimori was in fact responsible for them, and that’s something Peruvians needed to hear,” said Maria McFarland, senior Americas researcher at Human Rights Watch, who was in the courtroom.”

This woman & her group have an agenda so don’t be too quick to believe all she has to say.

Was Fujimori a bad guy? Given the circumstances he did very little, he could have done a lot more but didn’t & given what he was up against he did remarkably well & most Peruvians know that. When fighting fire with fire it sometimes happens that some innocents do get hurt & as sad & as wrong as that may be the end results here speak for themselves.
