No female would be dressed to the hilt - complete with a handbag and high heels - then put a gun into her mouth to commit suicide. Those two jurors in the first trial must've been in OJ's jury.

The geezer is a lunatic who played around with guns before. He wears ridiculous syrups and is obviously mental. He should be in the bleeding loony bin, for life !

Yeah, it seems like I first heard about this case in high school.

Spector, 69, who had long lived in seclusion at his suburban Alhambra “castle,” was out on the town in Hollywood when he met Clarkson on Feb. 3, 2003, at the House of Blues.
I remember being surprised to read his "castle" was located in Alhambra. That's more ranch-home territory. Sure enough, a neighbor reported he used to be driven down the hill and, after the gate opened, he would acknowledge those who lived in the flatlands. Sort of a "wave to the peasants" type thing.
The gun belonged to Spector, that was not in dispute. So we're supposed to believe that a woman he met only a few hours earlier came across a gun in his home, excuse me castle, and impulsively killed herself? Not very likely.
Most Angelenos "in the business" tried to avoid coverage of the trail. A wealthy has been and an aging never was underscores how fleeting fame is for most of those seeking to make it in LaLa Land.

I read DeeDee Ramones autobiography, Poison Heart, in the latter 90s. He mentioned that he had no memory of recording the 1980 album "End of the Century" because Spector put a gun to his head and drugged him after a disagreement. I think he claims that someone else must have played the bass track.

Its about time they found this clown guilty. SIX YEARS! I hope he has not been out on bail. Now I wonder how long the appeal is going to take. And the next one.

Wow he was actually found guilty, I'm amazed. There was a lot of publicity about this case and then it all quieted down. I thought he'd been aquitted already like O.J.

Betzee, I agree Alhambra isn't where I would have guessed he lived, for some reason I thought Santa Monica.

Saw a documentary about him. He came across as out of touch with reality. And I never knew what the fuss was about his genius. His stuff sounds like lots of the same stuff of the time. And it's not his.
