Heavy snow might be complicating the rescue efforts, but 70 cm of snow sounds like a good medium to land on if you are crashing. Thick snow and no fire must have contributed to the number of people walking away from this. RIP to those good people who didn't make it.

I hate hearing news like this. The only upside is that a decent amount of people survived the crash. RIP for the victims and whatever comfort can be given to their mourning families.

Of course, Iran has enough national ressources to develop nuclear weapons and rockets to reach Israel. Priorities first...
That Ahmedinejad sends his condolences is a sad irony.
