The footage on TV was dramatic. The plane crossed the bridge flying sideways. And a car got clipped by the tail wing, but continued driving. Luckiest driver ever!

The video looks like the pilot was trying to clear the surrounding buildings and make it to the river. Perhaps engine trouble led to a stall. Must have been terrifying, and I hope the death toll is minimal.

Looks like the pilot saved a lot of lives by missing that bridge.

Well, what do you know! One day you drive your taxi and suddenly an airplane shaves off the font of your car. These are bad times for air travel. I advise you to not get onto an airplane if you want to live.

'CGB Spender' make sure you don't get in a car as your chances of death are much higher!

Deicing boots on high-aspect-ratio turboprop aircraft (such as the ATR 72) are ineffective and unsafe during icing conditions.

Then you better stick with RwandAir, Air Nigeria or any of the other sub-Saharan African airlines.

Watching the car dashcam video, seems like the plane's left propeller was not spinning (stalled?), thus losing lift on its left wing, and so making the propjet tilt on its left side while crashing.
