Expect this protest to get rather large and maybe even crack 1 million people (23 million in the metro area). I fully expect these Women to win this one and they are not going to back down.

Wrong type of crowd to attempt to disperse for Indian law enforcement. This movement will hopefully grow so large that India will drastically change in regards to womens rights. Its like telling the mother that gave you birth to shut up because she's asking for you help after she got robbed. The law enforcement stepped on a land mine with this one.

What an insult:
"The number of rape cases in New Delhi has risen 17 percent from 2011 to 661 this year, according to government figures."
It is of course not the number of rapes, that has increased by 17%, it is the number of cases that the police has actually registered! If a low caste woman goes to the police in India to complain about a rape, then chances are bigger that she will be raped right there again, than her chances that her complaint will registered.
I have lived and worked 15 years in India. And as everybody else who knows the country, I know that India has always been a very bad joke, and that there is no chance that this will ever change,
The rest is dreaming, illusion, and image..... forget it! In India there are alone more than 100.000 child slaves, how do you think they are treated?
The only thinh this aricle actually tells us is, that even in the big cities with their schools and universities nothing much has changed.
