    Lets hope they find a rational pope this time. Vatican policies on HIV, condoms, homosexuality and a long list of other issues has been less than enlightened. In many cases actually quite destructive policies where church resistance to condom use in Africa actually contributes to the spread of HIV.

    It is time for the church to join the planet in the 21st century and demonstrate the true qualities of love, compassion and common sense for followers world wide.

    We can hope anyway.
