    A long, long time ago I used to be Catholic, so I kind of understand this, but ok, sayonara!

    One of the main reasons he is stepping off is the lack of support from the Curia Romana to put in action harder laws to punish paedophiles. Actually he was being singled out by his peers, a sort of silent bullying, not uncommon in the Vatican - which is full of politic games as any other state. I am not Catholic anymore, but I understand this poor old man.
