'Inhuman economic models'

I'm sure the US rightwing can put this Latin socialist in his place and show how Jesus would have had no problem with enormous wealth disparities, riches and materialism.

Francis called on South Korean Christians to combat “the spirit of unbridled competition which generates selfishness and strife” and to “reject inhuman economic models.”

This is such a breath of fresh air in contrast to so many other evangelical religious leaders and prior popes.

urged him to support their campaign for a full, independent inquiry into the Sewol sinking

How can he support that? It's entirely a domestic matter.

OM!!!

In his homily, Francis called on South Korean Christians to combat “the spirit of unbridled competition which generates selfishness and strife” and to “reject inhuman economic models which create new forms of poverty.”

Tell that to the little boys who couldn't reject the sexual advances that your priestophiles took advantage of and for economic gain and to save the church and its religion the church just hid and over looked these actions and move the prietophiles around to avoid to them being jailed and exposed!

He also spoke of the “cancer” of despair that can permeate societies where surface affluence hides deep inner sadness.

LMAO preach to your Cardinals and your priestohiles

“Upon how many of our young has this despair taken its toll,” he said.

How many young boys lives are ruined because of the catholic church hiding the pedophiles past.

He's upset the hypocrites, many from the US rightwing, who have desperately been trying to square the message of Jesus with the kind of capitalism we now have. This buffet Christianity is stomach-churning.
