It'll still take quite a while to do anything legally. If it was going to be that quick and easy, he'd be on unvolutary vacation already. < :-)

Fitzgerald pulled the trigger too fast and the Governor will get off the hook. Blagojevich just talked about doing something illegal, he didn't actually do anything illegal. The real question is, why did Fitzgerald accuse the Governor of a crime before he actually committed the crime? I don't think it is possible for Blagojevich to be impeached for anything other than stupidity.

A conviction for conspiracy to sell the senate seat may be able to be gotten. That alone would get him impeached, but the time required to go through the steps won't get Blagojevich out of office before he could announce a successor to Obama. < :-)
