Protesters threw shoes, sand and small stones at the convoy of U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon

Was he hit or ducked successfully?

Protesters threw shoes, sand and small stones at the convoy of U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon as he entered the Gaza Strip for a visit on Thursday.

Well done. If that doesn't work, they could always kidnap some aid workers. That should improve things.

The visit comes a day after the U.N. chief urged Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to ease his country’s restrictions on the coastal territory.

    and

Ban entered the Hamas-run strip, hours after a barrage of eight rockets was fired from the Palestinian territory into southern Israel.

    and

threw objects at Ban’s car as he drove past them.

= screwed up priorities on all parts.

I supported the barbaric throwing of shoes when they did it to Bush but in this case I am appalled.

Visiting the walled ghetto the locals have been herded into he was treated to some stones thrown by children whom have no future, or respect for the head of an organization that allows the veto of any resolution that is in any way negative about the guards on the walls or on their land. How dare they!

Oh I agree the children have no future in Gaza. As long as Hamas burns down schools and uses children as human shields there won't be many of them left. They should have over to the West Bank and get an education and leave the self-destruction to the adults.
