Putin explained he left early because he wanted to be rested before returning to work. “On Monday I must go to work. I hope to have four or five hours to sleep,” Putin said shortly before leaving Brisbane. “I told this to Tony and he was very understanding so I didn’t give it a second thought.”

Tony is one understanding guy!

Nobody gets in his face or criticizes him at home so he probably wanted to get out of there as quick as possible.

Obama and the other natto leaders seem hell bent on escalating to a new cold war, possibly a hot one.

When the bully Putin was surrounded not by his own gang as usual, he couldn't take it by escaped the moment. It is worth the price to pay, even through another not so cold war, in stopping this 21th. terrorussian.

Oops. Darned auto-correct. Natto should have been NATO. But either way it's a nutty mess with a stench.

Running away from the bullies won't help the crook Putin's "tough guy" image.

Putin needs to return to the place where he tells people what to think. I can imagine he's not going to be very comfortable in other situations.

@AiserX You should see the hate the US gets on here, and the US is Japan's ally!

On Monday I must go to work. I hope to have four or five hours to sleep,

before the invasion begins.

Asked at the conclusion of the summit about where things stood with the Russian leader, Abbott responded that they’d had a “very robust” discussion about the situation in Ukraine.

Sorry - Vladimir Putin is Russian president, not Ukrainian

What we have now in this miserable land (in Russia it called country 0404) of cause - very interesting

But Russian position is VERY simple - this is not our problem

What can and must do Russia - to provide some support to regions with Russian population - Donbass

That's all

Russia absolutely not interested in problems of " Ukrainian Ukraine "

Nobody in Russia want to invade in Kiev and so on

If people from center and from north west Ukraine want to "integrate" in EU - it's not Russian problem

not politically not economically (Russian look at Ukrainian Ukraine as USA citizens look at Mexico :

third world country with nice girls cheap alchohol and corrupted police )

But if a central government in Kiev want to start a genocide of Russian population in Donbass - this is not allowed

with sanctions or without sanctions

Sign of a strong leader when on a hot seat. Even leads the strategic advance to the rear.

I take it only the crook Putin is allowed to commit genocide then, i.e. in Chechnya? I expect big, "tough" Putin will be posing with his shirt off right now for some more "manly" photos, but everyone knows he is a coward. Too scared to allow free elections in Russia and too scared to sit in the G20 meeting and listen to criticism.

Scrote I take it only the crook Putin is allowed to commit genocide then, i.e. in Chechnya?

It is a big difference - nobody planned to exterminate Chechen population

Nobody from officials says that Chechen people - enemy of Russian people

The war was wined by Akhmad Kadyrov who suddenly understand simple fact : his people only tool to make war

against Russia and nobody in West are interested in peaceful and procperous Chechnya

And he come on Russian side

Today Chechnya (unlike Iraq) stable and law-abiding autonomy inside Russia

by the way Akhmad Kadyrov was killed by terroristic attack (His ex friends from West were very dissapointed)
