Using terror to consolidate power and eliminate enemies, classic Russian strategy or what! Bush and Cheney, take notes now!

He's back..... Everybody's favorite sometimes bare-chested, pajama-clad judo fanatic is back. And this time he means business.... Let's just hope there are no Washington Treaty-protected tigers between Vlad and his target.

Instead of issuing threats and acting like a tough guy, how about just getting the heck out of Chechnya? What, is everyone going to suddenly smell weakness and invade Russia? Give me a break! Just take your paws of Chechnya and watch the terrorism disappear. Its not rocket science.

He's back and it's wonderful. Real leadership.
HeyLars, Chechnya is part of Russia. A nation can't start giving up territory every time some tribe or religious order gets a little too full of itself. That's the kind of thinking that gives Mexican "Atzlan" types fantasies of being able to break Arizona and California off from the United States.

It is only a part of Russia because its people were conquered. The people of Chechnya never wanted to be Russian and they still don't.
Let them fantasize. If they ever get a majority, let them leave. What do you have against self-rule and state's rights? These are cornerstones of democracy. What do you have against democracy?
