Geez, no love for the Irish?? Foreign filth? Wow, these Aussies must be really pissed off?? But I say, Go my UNION brothers and fight for your rights, but come on, no need to be nasty to this dude that happens to be from the land of Ire, right?? Better to focus on NATIVE Aussie SCABS, breaking the picket lines, messing up the unions attempt to get better pay, better etc..I say IMHO.

Qantas decided to go down the road of sacking Aussie pilots (the best) and turning over maintenance to places in Asia. Also hiring Asian staff and paying them a pittance. The image of Qantas in Australia and internationally has suffered as a consequence. So many near misses that didn't happen in the golden days when nothing was outsourced and cost cut.

Would not be surprised if Alan Joyce made up the threat himself. He wants to get as much money out of Qantas and will walk away from a ruined company. Fight on my union brothers and sisters! Save your airline and your jobs. Alan Joyce is only looking after himself the selfish beepard!
