I doubt they Will choose Holland my home country has a really strict immigration process you need to learn dutch in order to get a pemit to live there wich even then is too much trouble for them not a bright future for them in europe.

Lousy food, lousy climate, culturally backward. high unemployment, large degree of xenophobia, Front Nationale, plenty of previous immigrants of their own who can't or won't find work.. Of course nothing worth staying for.

Interesting that the wonderfully generous unemployment and welfare benefits offered by Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Norway, the UK, Switzerland and Finland aren't mentioned. France doesn't crack the Top 10 in terms of generous benefits.

Well France is the example what Europe will be in a few years from now, refugees cheat the system, find loopholes, make their own communities, speaks their languages or dialects, be lousy, not respect the others. But if Europe wants that let it be!

I assume that's sarcasm? Of course they worry about benefits and know which countries are good/bad any why. The article's quotes show's they're choosing countries based on getting family in. I'm sure they're thinking about money and benefits too. Information travels fast and they know exactly where they want to go - and where to get the best deal. Hell, who would blame them? If I were them I'd do the same, anyone would. But it's Europe that will suffer the consequences of unstoppable flows of poor, unskilled, immigrants with values in stark contrast to that of the local populations, so it's up to them to put on the brakes.

Every French citizen is loving this story. Oh, boo-hoo! Refugees won't come to my country and then immediately bring their whole family along to abuse the system! So sad!

And every German, Swede, and Dutchmen is thinking, Why?! Why did we have to be so nice for so long? We shoulda been more like the French!

I am really getting tired of these euphemistic press articles which omit the link between welfare benefits in Northern Europe and this tsunami of illegal immigration.

The numbers moving to Germany will ensure that benefits there are cut before long, otherwise the country will join Greece as a bankrupt. We can think of it as another benefit of globalisation. No benefits in Syria and similar dumps and pretty soon no benefits in Europe either. Homophobia, mysogyny and intolerance in Syria and similar dumps, the same in Europe in the near future.

Why aren't they staying in Turkey? Why risk their lives and the lives of their kids to get to Greece when Turkey, a Muslim country, is relatively safe? I don't see IS running around Turkey beheading people, fighting in the cities, etc...

So, the immigrants are blaming French people for speaking/writing/printing in French.

Sounds like a problem France doesn't mind having. They are on par with Russia for taking so few refugees.
