Yeh well why should Reid dwell on it. It took the media two years to report it.

Reid, won't, but the GOP surely will -- they can't come up with their ideas to keep things busy.

Well, of course he won't dwell on it - heck, he'd like to forget it ever happened!

You know I hear all this crap about the "negro dialect" and some asking what is a "negro dialect". In a sense it's the same as a white person's accent or drawl. We've all heard white people who will talk one way, but get them home and they feel comfortable and allow that drawl, dropping Gs on some of out words a conversational tone more accepted to a certain crowd or audience.

Whether white or black, you've got your own dialects.

We've all said this, just different ways. Remember, "Is he black enough"?

Well, Harry's not going anywhere right now. < :-)

Steele did not mention that it was Bush’s White House and fellow Republicans, embarrassed by the comments, who ultimately pushed Lott from his leadership position.

One heckuva an omission! The Republicans want to make it sound as though it were Democrats screaming for Lott's hide.

And of course Steele doesn't mention his own mirthful reaction during Bill Bennett's talk show at "Barack the Magic Negro."
