That would be quite funny if they ended up nuking themselves. Do they use Windows for their important computer systems? Hahaha.

Iran has acknowledged that the malware _ malicious software designed to infiltrate computer systems _ hit the laptops of technicians working at Bushehr

If the technicians would stop looking at sexy women in Burkas and instead stuck to their jobs, they would not be getting these malicious worm attacks.

Is this analysis done by a 5 year old? A meltdown with the force of a small nuclear bomb?

If you actually take a high school physics class, you can learn that nuclear fuel doesn't explode. It gets hot. Depending on the coolant system, you can have a fire or a build up of hydrogen and the hydrogen can explode. You can't in any way get a bomb out of a fuel assembly, though.

Depends on the facility set up. If containment failed and the fuel melted into the resivoir it's possible that a fairly substantial steam explosion could occur due to the rapid boiling. That would require a fairly large lapse in judgement on the part of the designers but it's still possible.

Not yet ready for prime time. Iran ought to concentrate on improving the lives of ordinary Persians. Get out of Lebanon. Get out of Iraq and Afghanistan. Bring the troops home. Take care of your own people.

It's quite a thought that a cyber worm, which does not even exist in 'reality' could possibly have the power to destroy life over a quarter of the planet...

Don´t go overboard. Even if the Stuxnet was able to blow up the Busheer reactor (which it is of course not), it would destroy "live of over a quarter of the planet).

Agreed WilliB, I was exaggerating. Even so, radioactive stuff blowing around can have a deleterious effect on all life within a very, very large radius, as we saw with Chernobyl.

Stuxnet is not your average "pc glitch". The thing is designed not to get into your laptop, but into industrisl programmable chips, and specifically the ones used by the Russians in their nuclear equipment. Read up on the thing; the Computer geeks are amazed by it and are far from having figure out all its powers.

No wonder that Ahmedinjad is raving and ranting.
