The news to me is that, according to her, someone threatened White to make her talk. Its just another reason why the press should not report on anyone's private sex lives without consent of both parties.
Not that it will matter in Ohio. They love their gossip as much as they love their Republicans. They will overlook anything, just so long as you are red and not blue!

"backers who are ignoring the most recent charge of a 13-year extramarital affair."
Looks like the conservative pro-adultery vote is being split betwen Newt and Cain although on pure numbers alone, it appears Cain leaves Newt in the dust.
Meanwhile the conservative/GOP 2012 election cycle death wish rolls on.....

Can’t help feeling sorry for the Cons.
Good luck finding a candidate to field against the President.

Why would anyone want to be president anyway. The guy should just go home and enjoy his Pizza and millions.

Actually two. The other three came forward a long time ago. Over and done with, not to mention untested in a court of law. Their stories were unearthed, not forwarded. Of the two coming foward, one seems to have been pushed. But she has no complaint. The other has a complaint, also untested in a court of law and not taking it there.
Basically, this is like setting up Justin Bieber with child support payments and not even bothering with the paternity test. I don't even like Herman Cain and I find him more credible than four of those women and it would be beneath me to give them creedence. And I just don't care about the mistress. That situation is no one's business.

Nothing to do with Cain's demise but I suddenly find myself a little more interested in Huntsman. Like 98 percent of libertarians and conservatives I wouldn't vote for the guy, but I read that he will not rule out running as a third party candidate, which would hurt an already vulnerable Obama.
Most libs have bought the silly media hype about the Huntsman - that he speaks Mandarin (he doesn't), that he is a moderate (which means nothing anymore - no one knows what the Dems stand for these days) and that he is Mormon only because he is from Utah.
So here I am in agreement with posters like sushisake and yabits - Go Huntsman!

Probably the best thing Huntsman has going for him is that, unlike Cain and others, I never see his name in the headline.
Cain has proven that too much press can be a bad thing.
As governor, Huntsman nearly doubled the state budget and he also cut taxes. Both are definitely the wrong moves for America right now. I am especially concerned that he many have no idea how to "not spend". Second, I am concerned that he would go for a flat tax like he did in Utah, which is nearly as insane as Cain's 9-9-9 ideas.

Could I ask why it has taken you so long to figure this out?
Most libs saw months ago that Huntsman was the only capable one in the pack - and that the rest were basically a raving bunch of nutters.

Do wonder a bit about JT's obsession with Cain. He never had a chance to begin with, but articles about Gingrich and Romney (especially Romney) are sparse.
He never wanted to be president. He just wanted to sell his book and position himself for other profit-making activities - just like Gingrich.

As I said yesterday, many conservatives can’t seem to tell the difference between a book tour and a presidential run.

There's no hype. One can see clearly with one's own eyes that, when he's on a stage with the other Republican candidates, he's the only adult in the room.

I feel the same as sushisake3:
Go Huntsman ! Go USA !

My view it's pretty simple. If you have a media that is in the tank for Obama and you wanted to push the guys you really want the Republicans to nominate to run against him who would you choose? Romney as number one of course. He's wall street, millionaire, author of the blueprint for Obama care. Shoot he's the perfect guy for Obama to run against. Romney can't slam Obama care and Obama's team is going to use class warfare to motivate his base. Romney's a perfect central casting foil for him.
Second choice Gingrich, the guy's got more baggage in his record that you could fill an entire empty airport with. So the media's been laying off them. They'll get the knives out after whoever gets the nomination.
Cain was a real threat and had to be dealt with through Obama's sympathetic media. Heck i'm not sure we could even call it media any more more tabloid bgossip than anything else anymore. Ironic though, I guess the media now thinks its okay to go national Enquirer and vet a conservative black guy. Liberal black guys still get a pass though. I'm still waiting to find out about Obama's college grades. I knows Cain's, media found out about 5 minutes after he started rising in the polls,,,,,,,C average at Morehouse college by the way.

I read a wide variety of magazines, newspapers and journals -- from The Atlantic to The Wilson Quarterly -- as well as watch a number of news channels. I have not experienced any "media" that is in "the tank" for President Obama. I am witnessing a number of paranoid and horribly ignorant and biased people who appear to believe that there is a "media" that conspires to "push" or otherwise manipulate things.
Media laying off Gingrich? This adds a lot of weight to the complete disconnect from reality suffered by some paranoid losers.
Cain was a complete idiot. A joke. Clinton ran the same gauntlet of "bimbo eruptions," and the Democrats (especially his wife, Hillary) decided to stick with him. If Cain was that good, there's no reason for the Republicans to abandon support for him. At this point, it's ALL on the Republicans. Not the media. Not the Democrats.
Cain was paying off this latest woman -- Ginger White -- for many, many moons and never told his own wife about it. Even arch-conservative, friend-of-Herman, and Atlanta radio talk-show-host Neal Boortz has said that the fact he hid this from his wife disqualifies him to be considered "sane." I guess Boortz is part of that "media" too.

Ironic, the only media you have complained about in the past is Fox news in its coverage of Obama. I have never heard you complain of media coverage of Obama from anywhere else. In the tank and knee deep in carry his water except for Fox news.

Because most reputable news outlets -- and Fox is not one of them -- provide fair, intelligent and balanced praise and criticism of President Obama. (After all, Fox was the "news" outlet that reported to its gullible and easily-led viewers that our president's trip to India was costing hundreds of millions of dollars a day.)

You sat through Chris Mathews on MSNBC last week begging the president
“Just give us our orders and tell us where we’re going. Give us the mission!” ??

You won't put up a post with the full context around those remarks because it would reveal the complete dishonesty of the part you cherry-picked. Par for the course.

"The top contenders are Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich"
How could this have come to pass? Oh that's right, Palin opted out.

Leave it to Cain to turn his "I'm quitting" announcement into a pitch for his motivational speaker business.
Anyone who donated money to that chump is a complete sucker.
