“I still think it’s a very realistic chance that nobody’s going to have a majority of the delegates,” said Henry Barbour, a senior Republican National Committee member" - article

The RNC is again the shill for their masters, and that isn't obvious? What political presence ignores religious prejudice, Trump's threats and racism with this bland branding of helplessness? The GOP/Tea.

Republicans wavering on Trump with denial, grudging acceptance

Denial. It ain't just a river in Egypt.

The party is like the fish you've just gutted, thrashing around all over the ground: He's dead. Just don't know it yet.

A merger of Trump's branch of the WASP establishment with the various branches of the GOP WASP establishment seems inevitable. Backroom deals will be made by the powers that are in all the branches to ensure that each gets to maintain and expand their wealth, power and control. They need to keep the US in its perpetual state of war so they can get richer. They need to keep wars going to ensure more control of petroleum and minerals. The MSM darling Trump and his brand will continue to get even more free publicity, and in brand marketing campaigns all publicity is good publicity.

the WASP establishment

Always thought the W was redundant: not too many Anglo-Saxon's who aren't white.

Better yet, it makes them ASPs....

How is Trump a racist? You never seem to prove it.

Always thought the W was redundant: not too many Anglo-Saxon's who aren't white.

Better yet, it makes them ASPs....

Now this is actually the reason with statements like that, that so many Whites are furious about and you wonder why Trump is winning.

They need to keep the US in its perpetual state of war so they can get richer. They need to keep wars going to ensure more control of petroleum and minerals.

What on Earth is this Michael Moore conspiracy thinking? No one is trying to do anything but keep the country from tearing itself apart. Everyone is pissed off and it affects both liberals and conservatives, but both parties are ONLY caring about the next election, this is the main cause of the problem.

The MSM darling Trump and his brand will continue to get even more free publicity, and in brand marketing campaigns all publicity is good publicity.

For one thing, Trump is a ratings goldmine and you have to be a complete insane loon to NOT cover him, like him or not, he brings in the money, even msnbc realized it and that's something the other networks need....desperately!

-10 ( +3 / -13 )

No use bass, you can tell them the sky is blue and they'll never believe it.

-15 ( +3 / -18 )

@bass How is Trump a racist? You never seem to prove it.

100% right there's no scientific methodology that can prove Trump and his minions aren't racists. But for those of us who've been humans for more than 10 or 12 years and have observed racists and bigots of all varieties it's pretty easy to invoke the it's-a-duck principle. When white JT posters constantly berate people of colour and the groups they've formed to counter institutional racism, and these same posters then blame their country's problems on people of colour, I have to think - they're ducks. You're right: I can't prove it: but i still believe it.

No one is trying to do anything but keep the country from tearing itself apart.

"Despite the deep concerns about Trump within the Republican Party, there has been no rush among party leaders or donors to coalesce around Ted Cruz" - article

Ted Cruz's agenda is the same as Trump's and his judgement, no better . . .

Reuters - NEW YORK, 17 March 2016 -

Senator Ted Cruz, named his national security advisers on Thursday, including former staffers of President George W. Bush and members of a think tank that has been called an anti-Muslim "hate group."

Frank Gaffney, and at least two other members of a think tank Gaffney founded, the Center for Security Policy.

The center produces research that drifts far from the academic mainstream, arguing that hundreds of thousands of American Muslims support Islamist violence in the United States and that there is a conspiracy to erode the U.S. legal system by elevating sharia, the Islamic legal code, in the country.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights organization based in Montgomery, Alabama, that monitors white nationalism in the United States, has labeled the Center for Security Policy a "hate group" and Gaffney a "noted Islamophobe."

The political and economic cycle in the USA brings about the rise in the candidate of Trump and its related ideas and policies. The silent American majority is speaking. The Republican establishment will inevitably has to embrace Trump, as it is the choice of the voters. Americans are ready for change for a Republican President after 8 years of Obama Democrats presidency, for better or for worse.

The next wave of international politics and economics is likely that of protectionism, not more globalization. Some adverse extreme effects of globalization like millions of Muslim refugees crossing into Europe borders, IS bombings in cities like Paris, the loss of many manufacturing jobs in the USA are shaking up strong emotional sentiments and realities.

Asian economies like Japan and China, which are mainly exporting nations will be adversely affected. Trade protectionism is not good, but seems to be the next trend. Trump presidency seems surprisingly likely although the MSM wants to ridicule and minimize this probability. Be ready for a rough economic ride in the next few years in Asia, and even so Japan. Asian currencies will be under USA political pressure to appreciate.

"The three best-financed efforts to stop Trump abruptly ceased advertising after Tuesday’s primary elections." - article

Further proof that will put co-conspirators in the dock. The American law enforcement community calls it Coercion. Let's read about this fascinating concept for clarity. "Coercion generally means to impose one's will on another by means of force or threats."

Hello! Welcome to how business is done downtown.

Added charges: so far incitement. The stretch goes to seven to ten if, and that's the matter the FBI will likely address, violence results in bodily injury, property destruction or intent to deprive the victim of their civil rights.

Proof is the court's business. Gathering evidence is an ongoing project one Police Department in the States has already addressed, and it wasn't Chicago, yet. That's some resume for the Office of the President.

Republicans wavering on Trump with denial, grudging acceptance

I'm not even a Republican and it makes no sense to me. And the Dems have Hillary. The 2016 election is like the Twilight Zone. Trump in the middle of riots at the GOP convention. Hillary indicted by the FBI. Get out the popcorn folks. This is going to be entertaining.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

More likely scenario: Trump in the middle of riots and being led away by the FBI. Clinton grinning like a cheshire cat as she updates the furniture, drapes, and SCOTUS.

"Any scenarios that end with blocking Trump could leave the party in chaos. But some Republicans suggested that given the party’s current state, the chaos couldn’t get much worse." - article

Sure it could. When the puppy-monkey-baby of Trump/Cruz goes George W. Bush 2.0.

@PTownsend,

My brothers wife is African-American and a US citizen and shes for Trump. Her parents are also for Trump. Ive asked her about the racist allegations towards Trump and she just doesnt see it. My good friend from HS is also black (not a US citizen) and thinks the media and establishment are just looking for attention, just lies and jealousy. So...are Trump`s African American supporters also racist???

The "" independent" conservatives are back. Early this year. Must be global warming....

So...are Trump`s African American supporters also racist???

Maybe - if they hold the same views towards Mexicans and Muslims that Trump holds. It all depends on what their views are.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

There is no better, more inspiring or more meaningful story than a personal tear jerker about an imaginary friend or relative's significant other who supports Donald J. Trump, torture advocate, for President of the United States. Thanks for that. The Easter Bunny is also for Trump and no one calls the Easter Bunny a racist. Nobody.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

@pointed So...are Trump`s African American supporters also racist???

Re people of colour supporting Trump; I'm sure there are. There are roughly 40,000,000 people in the US who identify as Black in censuses. That's a large population. In any large population outliers and anomalies are inevitable. The outliers form a pole on a population spectrum, but can not be seen as defining of that population.

Carson endorsed. He was fine until Cruz lied and Carson supporters to vote toCruz in Iowa.. Cruz won Iowa and

Trump lost. Not because that, unlike Rubio and Cruz Carson does not make lies. He wants to concentrate on religion,

@Strangerland,

Please provide proof that he is racist. Too many sensitive left-wingers.

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

In USA,, Republicans used to be right wing. Fascists.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

The wingnut factor kept growing among US conservatives over the years, and the "establishment" conservatives did nothing to discourage it. They are now paying the price.

America has had a 2 party system. After the election, it will be a 1.25 party system.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Left wing fascism is failing.

Left wing fascism is not a real thing.

Please provide proof that he is racist

Sure. From his own mouth:

When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.

Now before you say this was about illegals, it wasn't. Unlike most republicans, I've read the transcripts. If you want to say this was about illegals, the please show me where he specifies that this comment was about illegals.

On top of this, the guy wants to ban a group of people from the US based on religion. Now technically this isn't racism, it's bigotry, but the end effect is the same - Trump is not qualified to lead a multicultural nation of immigrants.

Now that all said, it's been said so many times before. You guys don't want to admit he's a racist, because that would mean you're supporting a racist for president. But it doesn't change the fact that he is a racist.

What's funny is hearing the statements from the GOP leadership talking about the American people having a say in the Supreme Court nominee, while at the same time planning on potentially pushing aside the voters to pick their own presidential nominee who could potentially pick the next justice.

Not that it means anything to them, but still.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

What's funny is hearing the statements from the GOP leadership talking about the American people having a say in the Supreme Court nominee

It's also just absolutely ridiculous, as the people already did have a say - they elected the president, and he is the one who selects the nominee. Now they want to wait until the people vote the next president. This time they are claiming it's because it's the last year of his term. Next time will it be because it's two years left in the term? Three years? Where is the cutoff?

Oh yeah, the cutoff only exists in their own partisan minds.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

As an undicided voter, it is interesting to note the establishment republicans dislike Mr. Trump just as much (if not more) than any democrat candidate running for president. Just more proof that both U.S. political parties are one in the same. . . .

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

@undecided in Texas, it is not a hard decision when faced with a candidate who has not done jack squat politically in five decades of adulthood. GOP resents someone who is out of control and hasn't had to pay his dues to use the brand. Dems sure aren't going to vote Trump in large numbers. Try looking into a third party.

Texas A&M: As an undicided voter

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Thing is...Cruz isn't any better than Trump. I would equally hate either one of them becoming the republican nominee...but honestly, the Republican party didn't have many winners to begin with.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

@Tofu,

It appears this election cycle is boiling down to a guy with no track record in politics versus a professional establishment politician -- whose own party leaders had so much confidence in her that they kicked her to the curb eight years ago in favor of a half-black man who was a U.S. senator for something like 150 days -- and has no accomplishments other than being the only person (and a democrat nontheless) to be fired from the Nixon impeachmeant committee in the early 1970s for malfeasence. Those are not the best lines to have on a resume when being considered for the job of U.S. President. . . .

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

How is Trump a racist?

Let's see, Trump has called Mexicans rapists, mocked Asian accents, called Obama a "Muslim" and stated that all Muslims are a problem that needs to be dealt with, stated that only Muslims need to be registered in a database, and incorrectly stated that he witnessed first-hand thousands of Muslims in New York city cheering the 9/11 disaster. He also tweeted false stats about more blacks killing whites to use as a reason why they are all "thugs", when it is actually more whites who kill blacks.

Let's not forget that the Justice Department has sued Trump Management Corporation twice for not renting out to black people. Trump refuted it, but ended up settling out of court.

Trump has also proven himself to be sexist with his attacks against female journalists. He even mocks those with disabilities and the LGBT community. While his backers are not all racists too, many white supremacists back him.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

bass4funk: "How is Trump a racist? You never seem to prove it."

Easy. What he said about Mexicans coming into the US, and as Strangerland pointed out, it was not limited to illegals. Doh! That was easy.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Please provide proof that he is racist.

That's the beauty of charging somebody with racism. No proof is necessary - just keep flinging the charge and will stick a bit. And it can't be denied - especially with the bulk of Americans who have been brainwashed to see a racist in anyone who disagrees with them.

It's reprehensible the way "Americans" use bully tactics like this to silence political speech. And yet some very real racists in the Democratic party get a free pass. They are sometimes subtle (sometimes not), but racist nonetheless.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

when it is actually more whites who kill blacks

Sorry, it should read, "when it is actually more whites who kill whites.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

100% right there's no scientific methodology that can prove Trump and his minions aren't racists. But for those of us who've been humans for more than 10 or 12 years and have observed racists and bigots of all varieties it's pretty easy to invoke the it's-a-duck principle.

Dunno, I've been on the planet a lot longer and seen a lot and I'm still not convinced that's he's a racist. A loudmouth, definitely, but a racist, not buying it and you still can't prove it.

When white JT posters constantly berate people of colour and the groups they've formed to counter institutional racism, and these same posters then blame their country's problems on people of colour, I have to think - they're ducks. You're right: I can't prove it: but i still believe it.

That's your personal opinion and I accept it.

No one is trying to do anything but keep the country from tearing itself apart.

If that is true, then the president shouldn't have thrown the gauntlet down and started it.

Not conspiracy. Reality. When was the last time the US wasn't engaged in warfare?

When was the last time, we had any of our allies NOT ask for help, and don't start with the Iraq argument, there were a multitude of reasons to go in, most importantly to get rid of the butcher of Baghdad and thank goodness for that!

How is Trump trying to keep the country from tearing itself apart? He's even pitting white people against white people while he's alienating people of colour.

Pitting and disrupting, getting in people's faces are two entirely different things. If you want to harp on Trump for inciting violence, fine, but at the same time, liberals need to take responsibility for starting all the physical altercations that wasn't at all necessary.

On top of this, the guy wants to ban a group of people from the US based on religion.

I think what he meant was, scrutinize Muslims more, especially the radical ones before letting them into the country. How is that racist? Besides, It's not signed, sealed and delivered, so we can't say concretely this is without a doubt what he's going to do. Also, congress would NEVER authorize it. So, no need to even worry about it.

Now technically this isn't racism, it's bigotry, but the end effect is the same - Trump is not qualified to lead a multicultural nation of immigrants.

Now we are really in trouble, because there's no one left that's qualified!!!!

Now that all said, it's been said so many times before. You guys don't want to admit he's a racist,

I'll tell you what, I'll admit Trump is a full on racist if you libs can admit Hillary is a habitual liar about pretty much everything over the last 12 years.

because that would mean you're supporting a racist for president. But it doesn't change the fact that he is a racist.

And the same goes for any Liberal supporting Hillary. You guys would be supporting one of the worst presidential candidates that has a serious credibility and integrity issue.

There is a higher percentage of rape from illegal Mexicans entering in the country, that's not racist, those are the stats. That is not saying the majority of them are like that. No, they are not! As far as putting radical Islamists in the database, I'm all for that, does that mean all Muslims are bad, of course not, but we do need to keep track of the people that are in the country that want to kill us and would a San Bernardino style attack again. And as for Blacks, they do have the highest incarceration rate, are more prone to be pulled over, Black on Black crime is out of control in cities like Chicago, Obama NEVER has addressed it or tried to put more focus on the issue.

Let's not forget that the Justice Department has sued Trump Management Corporation twice for not renting out to black people.

Have you been to Chicago? I lived in Chicago for 3 weeks and to be honest, I wouldn't either, not because it's racist, but the people that do these assaults, the majority of them are Black, being overly cautious doesn't mean you are a racist. I know liberals always try to play that game, but it's not working.

Trump refuted it, but ended up settling out of court.

Michael Jackson settled out of court, never meant he was guilty of what he was charged with.

Trump has also proven himself to be sexist with his attacks against female journalists. He even mocks those with disabilities and the LGBT community.

So he's old fashioned, my father is very old fashioned, he thinks wearing jeans is dirty and only thugs and low life's wear them. But yes, he can be crude and a bit insensitive at times.

While his backers are not all racists too, many white supremacists back him.

The BLM are backed by the Democratic Party. They had a full out Klansman in congress "Robert Byrd!" That's all acceptable, right. Liberals are such hypocrites.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

That's the beauty of charging somebody with racism. No proof is necessary - just keep flinging the charge and will stick a bit.

That's the beauty with denying racism - even when faced with proof, you just make a statement like "No proof is necessary - just keep flinging the charge and will stick a bit" and ignore the proof altogether.

Doh! That was easy.

Well, I've pointed out the same proof multiple times, but the deniers just ignore it and say 'no one has shown any proof he's racist".

It's easy to prove he is racist (I already did it on this thread), but the people who don't want to admit it will never acknowledge that proof.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Oh come on, maybe it is time to shake things up a little! Trump would be vary bad for Japan becuase he seems to be living in the 1980s (Japan taking jobs from the US????), but what the heck! The USA is sinking so it might as well sink with some class at the head.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Justice Department has sued Trump Management Corporation twice for not renting out to black people.

Have you been to Chicago? I lived in Chicago for 3 weeks and to be honest, I wouldn't either, not because it's racist, but the people that do these assaults, the majority of them are Black, being overly cautious doesn't mean you are a racist.

It's pointless trying to get a person who can write this⇧ to see that Trump or anyone else is a racist.

Planks and motes? Matthew 7:4

As far as putting radical Islamists in the database, I'm all for that, does that mean all Muslims are bad, of course not, but we do need to keep track of the people that are in the country that want to kill us and would a San Bernardino style attack again.

Ah, but Trump called for putting all Muslims in the database, not just the radical ones, after all, how can you tell one will be radical until they become radical? Why stop at Muslims? Why not put all Americans in a database. After all, Timothy McVeigh and the Unabomber weren't Muslims, yet they directed terrible attacks on the American society. In fact, most of the mass shootings in America are not done by Muslims, and that is a fact!

So he's old fashioned, my father is very old fashioned, he thinks wearing jeans is dirty and only thugs and low life's wear them. But yes, he can be crude and a bit insensitive at times.

Trump is not the President of the U.S.A. yet, so his comments about gays and lesbians and women are just harmless comments as for now. Yet, if he does become President and passes laws stopping gay marriage, or making abortion illegal across the board, etc., then it would be another matter. If he passes no such laws as President, then I stand corrected and my comments about him will have been wrong.

The reason I fear living in a world where Trump is President, is because I don't want to live in a world where the world will hate Americans even more (after it had shown some improvement the past few years), where ethnic minorities will face even more persecution, where a trigger-happy rich kid, with no previous experience in politics could suddenly be in charge of the world's greatest arsenal of nuclear weapons, and has no clue how to maintain it, and where Americans will be further in debt to pay for his colossal "Great Wall".

3 ( +4 / -1 )

bass: I lived in Chicago for 3 weeks and to be honest, I wouldn't either.

Wait, did you just say that if you had property in Chicago you wouldn't rent to black people?

Trump has been ringing the dinner bell for racists and bigots and many have come running.

Does this mean all Trump supporters are racists and bigots? No.

Does anyone here truly believe Trump, a calculating businessman, isn't courting racists and bigots? Not anyone who should be taken seriously. Look at the polls. Trump has the lion's share of these people. There must be a reason for that.

For me, Trump is either a racist and a bigot playing on racist and bigoted sentiments to get elected or just an amoral opportunist who will play on racist and bigoted sentiments to get elected. The latter is possible.

Either way, it's pretty revolting.

Trump's tweets and retweets are often vile racist hatespeech. Google for Bernie Sanders in an concentration death camp gas chamber that he retweeted. Salon did a history of it, as did Atlantic Monthly. It's unsettling. The upside is he has destroyed the national power of the GOP.

Yesterday i was interviewed by Japanese Tv channel, they asked me about American presidency elections, definitely about Donald Trump, what do i think about him,i said Trump is trust by big number of Americans as shown in his success and progress in most of states.A lot of Americans and angry and disappointed at politicians of both party.Trump speaks their mind, thats why they voted and still for him.i said if -as trump said-there are 11million of illegal Mexicans in States, and he wanna deport them, what is against that?!11 millions are almost a population of a country in Europe, how comes such a thing happens?for sure Trump is right, they are affecting Americans JOBS and life in a bad way.About Muslim,i said,no he is not against Muslim,he is concerned about terrorists and terror, its a matter of national security, thats all. They told me but he is against refugees,i said no he is not,but first you have to give a definition of a refugee, true one,not job seeker,or illegal immigrants. Finally they asked me,will you be happy if Trump win,and why?i said yes i will be happy, because it will be Americans choice.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

That's the beauty with denying racism - even when faced with proof, you just make a statement like "No proof is necessary - just keep flinging the charge and will stick a bit" and ignore the proof altogether.

If Trump called for a final solution to the Muslim problem or hoarded then off to certain death and tried ethnic cleansing, then I would buy and accept the argument Trump is a racist.

Well, I've pointed out the same proof multiple times, but the deniers just ignore it and say 'no one has shown any proof he's racist".

Are people hanging from the trees?

It's easy to prove he is racist (I already did it on this thread), but the people who don't want to admit it will never acknowledge that proof.

Again, Hillary is innocent of lying and the Benghazi attacks, we can't prove that, but we can prove Trump is a racist. Liberal hypocrisy at its best once again.

By the way, as far as the BLM being not racist....

He behaves like a new-Nazi, whose supporters he refuses to shun, along with the KKK. While it is quite possible that the right-wing base of the Republican Party will give Trump enough votes to get the nomination of that party, Republican politicians need to consider carefully whether they will support Trump, or follow what they know is right.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

I'm a bit concerned that for some anything less than lynchings or gas chambers is very difficult to define as racist.

Twenty percent of Trump voters in South Carolina do not believe the abolition of slavery was the right thing to do. Am I on safe ground by calling these people racists? I'm not sure because they did not explicitly state that they regard one race as superior to another.

A lot of people are voting Trump even if he does not associate with the Rebublican party. =This upsets both parties even more (Rep + Dem). So now you will see the thugs of both parties double-down on the attacks and media hate.

Trump pulls in many hard working Black, Mexicans, immigrants, and illegals -a large part of these classes (welfare/ebt) are supposed to be controlled and vote Lib. Well, that isn't happening and many are voting Trump as the last 8 Obama years have not been so good and their condition got worse. These political jumpers are being attacked the most like what was seen in Chicago.

Expect the hate to continue as Trump gets stronger and Republican and Democrat get weaker. Good politicians are jumping to Trump while the rats are sinking with the ship.

And what good is a database if you can't distinctly identify them to their database entry? The only solution will be a tattoo of a serial number on their forearms, so they can be immediately identified.

I'm talking about people that are on the radar and potentially and have a high possibility to commit acts of terror.

Faulty logic. If Hillary has lied,

Has, it's already proven she's a habitual liar, that's an indisputable fact. Why do you think she has a 69% disapproval rating? Not because she's honest.

and there is something behind the Benghazi attacks, it will be found. But this has nothing to do with the fact that I've proven Trump to be a racist in this very thread, yet we still have people denying he is a racist.

I'm just saying, if you think Trump is a racist, but can't prove it beyond a reasonable doubt like you say the GOP can't prove Hillary is lying about her mails and Benghazi, then you should be fair in your accusations, that's all I'm saying. The right can't prove Hillary is a liar and the left can't prove Trump is a flat out racist.

Twenty percent of Trump voters in South Carolina do not believe the abolition of slavery was the right thing to do. Am I on safe ground by calling these people racists?

How do you know it's 20%? Did they ask every single one of these people, thousands of people, interview them?

I'm not sure because they did not explicitly state that they regard one race as superior to another.

So it's pretty much safe to say, we really don't know for sure.

"They did not explicitly state that they regard one race as superior to another."

"So it's pretty much safe to say, we really don't know for sure."

In your world, saying the abolition of slavery was a bad idea doesn't set alarm bells ringing? Your reaction to that is "Well, they might be racists but who knows?". Could you explain your reasoning on how believing the abolition of slavery is not a good idea can be divorced from racism.

While your at it, could you finally give me your reasoning that led you to equate Bernie Sanders to Stalin? You gave me your reasoning that led you the conclusion that Trump is not Hitler and not even a racist.

Bass, you are always fair and balanced. I know you never dodge a question. It's a big one for me because my political views are pretty close to those of Bernie in many ways and yet I've never considered myself a Stalinist. Maybe I've misunderstood Bernie or have a very biased view of Stalin through my education and books I've read since.

I'm talking about people that are on the radar and potentially and have a high possibility to commit acts of terror.

Then it should be reworded as ALL POTENTIAL TERRORISTS, rather than just Muslims. Trump seems to think that acts of terror are caused only by Muslims. Unfortunately, past terrorists like Timothy McVeigh, Terry Nichols, and the Unabomber were not Muslim and many mass shootings on American soil were done by non-Muslims, like Dylann Roof.

Has, it's already proven she's a habitual liar, that's an indisputable fact.

Just like it's been proven that Trump is a racist and sexist. It's been proven as a fact through his words and actions. So many posters on this site have given hard evidence of that fact. But I guess if you want to split hairs and don't want to admit that he is a racist, at least you have to agree that he racially discriminates and outwardly shows prejudice towards minorities. To me, they're as terrible as being a full-blown racist.

I just wish Trump would concentrate on making AMERICANS "great again", and not just "AMERICA". After all, what his slogan "Let's make AMERICA great again" means is simply to make AMERICA superior to other countries (and accomplish it at all means even if we have to bomb the **** out of everyone else).

"Trump is not the President of the U.S.A. yet, so his comments about gays and lesbians and women are just harmless comments as for now." - comments

By this logic, if someone isn't President, they may say whatever they wish and it harms no one. A Mexican-American child isn't harmed by Trump's racism?

"The intention all along has been to get people to believe that Obama was born in Kenya after all and is thereby disqualified from being President." - comments

That is the same reason Trump is just as vigorously tarring Ted Cruz?

The following presents a thinking point. In reading Carson's quotes, the conclusion is: It is not the color of one's skin, it is the content of their character and quality of their ideas.

Mr. Carson's skin color is irrelevant. What he endorses is Trump's racism as preferable to conscience and character and then states four years of racist policy is acceptable. Mr. Carson isn't the only cuckoo in the GOP/Tea.

There is no doubt that soft-spoken, dignified former GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson’s endorsement of the loud and bombastic Donald Trump left many scratching their heads. The formal announcement of Carson’s support for Trump was considered strange, as well, with Carson assuring voters that there are “two Donald Trumps” and that he was endorsing the one which, apparently, not many have seen yet.

“Even if Donald Trump turns out not to be such a great president, which I don’t think is the case, I think he’s going to surround himself with really good people, but even if he didn’t, we’re only looking at four years as opposed to multiple generations and perhaps the loss of the American dream forever.” - Ben Carson

Carson also said he would be serve in an “advisory capacity” in a potential Trump administration.

When on the campaign trail himself, Trump referred to the retired neurosurgeon as “pathological” and compared him to a child molester.

In your world,

My world? I wish!

saying the abolition of slavery was a bad idea doesn't set alarm bells ringing?

If a racist admitted to that and came out and say it, yes, it would. Why worry so much IF there are people that believe that. You make it seem like Europe is free of racism as if this is just some unknown phenomenon.

Your reaction to that is "Well, they might be racists but who knows?". Could you explain your reasoning on how believing the abolition of slavery is not a good idea can be divorced from racism.

You or I don't know who, how many people really believe that. I'm not buying this number. You want people to accept these number percentages, but ignore stats like 91% of Whites don't have a single Black friend or know or associate with Black people, what are we to make of this, the majority of Whites overall hate Blacks?

While your at it, could you finally give me your reasoning that led you to equate Bernie Sanders to Stalin?

He's a socialist.

You gave me your reasoning that led you the conclusion that Trump is not Hitler and not even a racist.

I never said, Sanders wants to murder millions of people. As for Trump, I said, we are not sure he's a racist that's all I said.

you are always fair and balanced.

Yes.

I know you never dodge a question. It's a big one for me because my political views are pretty close to those of Bernie in many ways and yet I've never considered myself a Stalinist.

Come one, you know exactly what I meant, don't go there. You know Sanders is a huge income redistributionist to the max.

Maybe I've misunderstood Bernie or have a very biased view of Stalin through my education and books I've read since.

Could be.

More faulty logic. First, you are saying she has been proven a habitual liar - ignoring whether or not that fact is true, we are talking about whether she lied about Benghazi, and it has not been proven that she lied about that.

On the Benghazi part you are right, but the rest, we have over 30 years of solid evidence on all of her lies. As for Trump, he says a a lot of toxic rhetoric, but based on that rhetoric, there is no way we can pin him down that he is a racist, could he be? That's between him and God, but I like to give everyone a benefit of a doubt until proven otherwise.

On the contrary, multiple inquisitions on the matter, including bipartisan ones, have not found anything.

As of yet.

Next, her disapproval rating doesn't prove her to be a liar,

But it proves that people don't trust her. Just like Trump"s negatives are high as well.

it's simply people's feelings on the matter, and if the bubble has taught us anything, people's feelings are often not based in reality.

That depends entirely on the individual.

Fron the Department of HAAAAAA haaaaa:

Each year, the Economist's Intelligence Unit (EIU) produces a list of the biggest potential global threats. They've just released this year's list, and here is the top ten:

1.) China experiences a hard landing [20/25] 2t.) Russia's interventions in Ukraine and Syria precede a new "cold war" [16] 2t.) Currency volatility culminates in an emerging markets corporate debt crisis [16] 4t.) Beset by external and internal pressures, the EU begins to fracture [15] 4t.) "Grexit" is followed by a euro zone break-up [15] 6t.) Donald Trump wins the US presidential election [12] 6t.) The rising threat of jihadi terrorism destabilises the global economy [12] 8t.) The UK votes to leave the EU [8] 8t.) Chinese expansionism prompts a clash of arms in the South China Sea [8] 10.) A collapse in investment in the oil sector prompts a future oil price shock [4]

See that? Donald as president ties Islamic Jihad.

See that? Donald as president ties Islamic Jihad.

You're surprised? They're the American Taliban.

The only difference is they probably have cooler pick up trucks and personalized side-arms.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

So the EIU are the moral authority of what is right and factual? Give me a break!

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

You're surprised?

No one is surprised. Least of all the Trump supporters. They want to burn it all down. Because they know they have lost.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Please elaborate, what have his supporters lost? This should be very interesting to learn.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

There is simply no way that this cannot be construed as a campaign of racist harrassment.

There's a difference between someone saying, "I don't think Trump is racist" and "I don't want to admit that Trump is racist." Facts and logic have no impact on the latter.

Keep in mind that some here were far off the Trump bandwagon in the beginning of the election and now they are firmly in Trump's corner. It kind of makes you wonder what it was they didn't like about hm before that's suddenly changed. The only thing I can find is that Trump looks to be their only hope so they're willing to sell their soul and hop in bed with the guy they spent so much time criticizing before.

Well, some good news, if not predictable:

On Monday, Donald Trump will address AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) and a group of about 40 rabbis are organizing a boycott of the event.

Right wing Jews against Trump? Gee, I wonder why these guys don't like Trump? What could it be...?

"Is Trump only one trying to win against Hillary?" - comments

No, Trump is trying to re-model America.

A two thousand mile long wall of death here, concentration camp there, but fabulous, like you're glad you're in the concentration camp, that kind of concentration camp.

And open to everyone, Trump has no prejudice when selecting who should be imprisoned.

Religion, race, political party, all are welcome and there will be so many jobs, so many jobs washing the pens of dissent with the peace and loving care all protesters receive at Trump's Loyalty Rallies.

The American Bund Reborn! All hail King Donald, Peace Maker, but with attitude.

The attitude of contempt mixed with a healthy dose of lining the pockets of fascism that will last a thousand years. A virtual Age of Reason, like they had in France.
