Please give us your equipment.... but since we're still allowing in very few aid-workers, please teach us how to use it, too.

Well, to be fair, they are STARTING to let people into the worser areas, but it's still late, and still few and far between. They need to swallow their pride and unite in the fact that they ALL need help, and that help can be given.

Hmmm... I misread it to mean they were reaching out further internationally, but I guess I was just misdirecting what I think they SHOULD be doing. Anyway, it's wonderful that they are binding together... but they can still use a whole hell of a lot of help.

Very sad indeed. International help is always very useful, to say the least, in any natural disaster of this scale. The world become very united and warm when this kind of disaster strikes

Was it not India or Pakistan that was hit two or three years ago & when even choppers had problems of finding safe landing places, to where with proper equipment the authorities were trying to clean up one road to so many trapped only most of the mountain had to come down to clear space to cut in such a road? Like we Canadains have not heard a word since back those one or two years.

So reason I have sort of compared China's earthquake & all the media, but even then companies were starting to running out of funds for fuel & servicing of the only means to getting releif supplies to the trapped people.
