Late Wednesday, hundreds of protesters gathered outside the convention site as Vice President Joe Biden, vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine and President Barack Obama spoke inside. There were two distinct groups of protesters; one peaceful, the other anti-government.

Beautiful. Everyone git ur popcorn ready ready for Day 4.

This is leading up to another one of the worst election years ever. Behind door number one! Satan! Behind door number two! Beelzebub! Pick your evil!

Popcorn is already ready watching the Traitor Trump at the moment

Really? Are they (anit-Trumpers) thrashing police vehicles? Burning US flags? Waving Mexican flags? Beating innocent people up? Those people are very hateful. That's not time to bust out the popcorn. It's time to change the channel and make sure your gun is loaded.

"Officials at the DNC sought to undermine sanders campaign. " This is all we need to know for an education in progressive politics..

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

Uh oh, the DNC handlers are having problems keeping the herd together. They’re spooked and looking for a reason to stampede . . .

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

Give 'em some cheese with their whine !

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

The Bernie people are moving beyond Bernie now. As soon as he bent over for Hillary they realized he was no longer a force for change.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Some of the protesters were waiving the Soviet flag! Do they know the oppression that represented? The failure of the soviets. The suffering under that flag? And the lives lost under and against that flag? Other protesters burning the American flag. One idiot hospitalized himself from burn dancing on a burning flag.

Truely a nation divided. Patriotic people have pride in the us flag and would never try to overshadow in with other national flags. We truely are a divided nation. Only a strong leader with job creation can reduce the anarchy.

Obama, Crooked Hillary and the democrats had better enjoy their fleeting moment of party "unity" as it is about to come to a screeching halt.

WikiLeaks has just released 29 voicemail messages that were hacked from the DNC. In them, several monied donors can be heard expressing their discomfort with the influence that Bernie Sanders had the party's members and asked the DNC Powers That Be to do something about it.

Oops!!!!

OMG.

Some of the protesters were waiving the Soviet flag!

Among the Sanders supporters are a wide spectrum of folks from the Left -- and were it not for Sanders, many would not be anywhere near a Democratic Party convention. Even so, it would not cost Trump's campaign very much to pay some people to go in and wave Soviet flags. Trump himself seems to get on quite well with the Soviets, and has had high praise for their leader, Putin.

Obama, Crooked Hillary and the democrats had better enjoy their fleeting moment of party "unity" as it is about to come to a screeching halt.

Yet another prediction almost certainly to fail.. Are you getting these from Acme?

@Wc,

Speaking of flags and patriotism, did you notice that after days of criticism on social media, the democrats finally put a Stars and Stripes on the stage last night?

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

DNC and HRC blaming all of their troubles on Putin but it wasnt Putin who wrote and sent those e-mails. It doesnt matter how those e-mails were obtained or leaked, what matters is what was in those e-mails.

I didn't notice that. I find that truly ironic, since some democratic voters are the ones burning Old Glory. But wht I did notice was that there weren't many chants of "USA, USA, USA -" maybe i missed that. My remote control's mute button saw a lot of action these past 3 days @DNC.

No chanting USA? Makes me wonder where their loyalty lies.

29?!! I'm speechless, but at the same time -it's music to my ears. Mm-hmm. WikiLeaks, tolerance, pc, denial, etc. etc. are sealing HRC's fate. Good riddance.

I've never understood the apparent American desire to plaster the flag all over the place. What's the matter, if you can't see the Stars and Stripes are you not sure what country you're in?

Mindless chanting is a sign of loyalty?? Alluss thought it was a sign of mindlessness.

Hopefully once the convention is over things will quieten down a bit and JT can get back to being JAPAN Today instead of its present reincarnation as an outpost of American Politics Ad Nauseum Today.

If it weren't that I'd miss the summer hols I've been looking forward to all year, I could almost wish for November to be over and done with already.

But they're running for the Presidency. It wouldn't be to unreasonable to give yor speech (whether Dem or Rep) in front of a couple US flags and the state flag hosting the convention.

Mindless chanting is a sign of loyalty?? Alluss thought it was a sign of mindlessness.

Mindless?? Talkin' bout america here people~

"Sanders on Monday criticized Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and urged supporters to fall in line behind Clinton for the good of the country. But many were unmoved."

That's because Hillary Clinton is so crooked. She won't get half of the Bernie votes.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

"Mindless chanting is a sign of loyalty?? Alluss thought it was a sign of mindlessness."

Me too. Then again, I suppose it's a step up from making whooping noises at a political rally. It is at least using the capacity to produce words.

Why a couple? Surely one is enough?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

For a 'superpower', America sure is a weird country.

I agree. Too much tolerance, political correctness and far-left nonsense. Why even have immigration laws if they're not enforced as the letter of the law suggests? Why have a border with Mexico if the the dems don't care?

Why a couple? Surely one is enough

It's time to get excited, fired up. The more flags the merrier. When a country cheers for their national team @an Olympic event, world cup, thousands paint their faces with colors & images representing their flag. Surely one painted face or tiny flag is NOT enough.

An election is a time to think soberly about the future of your country. The Olympics and the World Cup are festivals where people are enjoying the party atmosphere. I've been to a 3 World Cups.

Whooping boneheads draped in silly flags chanting USA are generally not the best state of mind to judge what is best for the future of a country. Neither are those in tears at syrupy schmaltz.

It's time to grow up.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

Exactly. Trump has millions of Americans supporting him. Whereas the Dems have a shitload of problems. Jimizo- did you see the madness just outside the the DNC venue since day 1? Yeah, even those protesters violent/ non-violent are thinking soberly about the future of this country.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Yabits

Don't think of a white elephant.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

I know there were Soviet and PLO flags. Has anyone seen one from ISIS? The DNC apparently doesn't even own the stars and stripes. DNC had to borrow everything from Philadelphia City Hall.

So they stole flags from a government building. Because the DNC had none of its own. To improve their political optics.

I see...

@Lizz: maybe both don't want Sanders supporters? Anarchists?

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Well...maybe. I don’t like Hillary but these people should not assault this guy. It was nice to see at least some black people recognize that the Dems are NOT their friend.

In this new video from Project Veritas Action, James O’Keefe goes undercover as a Hillary Clinton supporter with outraged Democrats at the DNC. Angry protesters scream and shout about their hatred for Hillary Clinton and how they’ve been disenfranchised by the DNC, the Democratic Party establishment and political elites. James O’Keefe gets assaulted by an angry Bernie Sanders supporter. Watch this video to see what the mainstream media refuses to cover.

@Lizz. Thank you for the vid. Wow. . . . I've never seen so many angry people before. Heck, these protesters are pissed-off, they make BLM look like the girl scouts.

That's because Hillary Clinton is so crooked. She won't get half of the Bernie votes.

The Dems rigged the primaries. They danced, now its time to pay the fiddler. HRC won't be getting the Sanders votes. HRC is done. The Green party will get the votes from Sanders supporters. Lmao-

0 ( +2 / -2 )

That vid - OMG!

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Speaking about that vid, HRC just tried to wu the Bernie supporters in her speech. Yet, just outside the convention, the Sanders "die hards" are weeping, screaming, obstructing police, gnashing their teeth & pulling out their hair. Way to Democrats!! Way to go!

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

The Bernie people - the REAL democrats!

1 ( +2 / -1 )

The Bernie people - the REAL democrats

The HRC people - the ones who support a crooked politician whose henchmen "rigged" the primaries from the outset. Thus, denying a fair shot vs Sanders. Hear ye, Hear ye, Mr Trump won (closing out Rubio, Kasich & Ted) fair n' square.

. . . . RofL, Obama said it would be a hunger games. Indeed. But more so for the DEMOCRATS & not the Republicans. Hear ye, Hear ye -down with crooked Hillary Clinton!
