wow, really I think they should make crime an olympic sport. Brazil would medal like crazy.
And where are the posts for the winger crowd that cheered for rio over chicago? I think they should go down to rio and help figure this crime thing out. Chickenhawking again it seems.

How can they have selected that place for the Olympics???? North Korea would have been a better choice.

All the gangs are fighting for property. The more you own the more you stand to make when the Olympics come. I saw the footage shot down a helicopter.
The cops in Brazil are no better than the criminals. At least the gangs are more upfront about what they do.
People should check out the documentary:
Unreported World - Brazil: The Killables
http://www.channel4.com/programmes/unreported-world
Reporter Evan Williams and director Paul Kittel travel to the Brazilian city of Recife, a beach paradise visited by thousands of British tourists every year. They uncover allegations that the police are involved in death squads that have murdered thousands of 'undesirables', including hundreds of street children, every year.
Just think how many the cops and the gangs are going to kill for the Olympics.

Surround the territory, create fire breaks around it and tell everybody to come out with their hands up. Then set it on fire and burn it to the ground.

Surround the territory, create fire breaks around it and tell everybody to come out with their hands up. Then set it on fire and burn it to the ground: you mean kill them all? including women ,children, old or young everybody, the lot? That will be crime against humanity; IOC will be in deep trouble . And if you mean only the property, then what next after burning them down to the ground?

This is the reason Japan tolerates having Yakuza, organized crime by it's very name is somewhat predictable. Arrest the heads of the organized crime outfits and you get dis-organized crime and situations like Rio.

Great, sounds like the Olympics is just making it worse by giving everyone a monetary reason to collect turf before cashing in during the games.
