The mentality of some these people show clearly the the lack of self control. "kill the police", really? I wonder how many other "good child getting ready to go to college" were looting and vandalizing from that crowd?
Obviously this boy did something wrong or suspicious that ended up in an altercation with a police officer.
The rioters simply show the absence of respect for rules and authority. Certainly not an example of a productive protest.

Perhaps his crime was being black.
JohnBecker
Or maybe his crime was doing something illegal.

Obviously the police officer is at fault because well, you know... So now let's remember Travon and destroy local businesses and the personal property of our neighbors. That will teach "The Man".

ANY opportunity to break into stores and STEAL EVERYTHING. When was the last time when a WHITE person was unjustly shot & killed, did WHITE people go running around rioting ? (this is NOT to say the kid was shot for no reason).

I wonder how an officer can let someone even get close to his/her weapon within the police car. Within the car, a suspect and the officer should not be sitting in the same space. Therefore, this statement is a little suspicious to me.

This appears to be a police execution.
The police side of the story makes no sense at all.

No one was in custody. The claimed scenario was that the kid was trying to push or restrain the officer back into the car for some reason, at least that is from the officer side as I understand it.

Victim's friend said they kept walking when the cop told them to stop. Wouldn't seem enough to get killed for, but it's enough to start an escalation. Not advisable.
yabits
Definitely not. According to witnesses, the young, totally unarmed Mr. Brown was on his knees with his hands in the air while the cop kept shooting him.
It was murder.
