A sign of things to come. Life in the "green zone" will get really interesting, once Obama/Billary withdraw all the troops, and the Mahdi armee takes over in Baghdad.

Such is life in the red zone (formerly known as the green zone AKA international zone). But I assume the surge is working.

The "Surge" is working back Stateside too - 81% of Americans think the country is on the wrong track.

President Bush has not only wrecked Iraq, the U.S. economy is also turning to juice on his watch.

Not to mention the terrorists are getting the best PR they've had in years thanks to Bush.

They must be bombing the Green Zone in celebration, much like people in Arab countries fire rifles into the air to celebrate.

And let's not mention the "surge" has failed dismally, the planned withdrawl of U.S. forces is currently "paused" (means: we don't know what the heck we are doing), and violence going north as are the continuing casualties on both sides.

And I still find it strange that none - not one - of the War Supporters on JT have done anything to support the troops other than frantically type insults on their keyboards.

Even some of the left-leaning liberals on this board have done more for America than that.

"Separately, the U.S. military said the largest cache of armor-piercing roadside bombs known as explosively formed penetrators, or EFPs, had been found by Iraqi troops acting on a tip south of Baghdad."

Automatic kneejerk reaction when you've got no proof nor the guts to admit it: "These were supplied by Iran." (yawwwwnnnnnn!)

"Al-Sadr has called for a “million-strong” anti-U.S. demonstration on Wednesday in Baghdad to protest the fifth anniversary of the capture of Baghdad by invading U.S. troops."

This is going to be interesting.

Are ice-cream sales on the increase?
