Wow. That's really specific. I'm sure it will lead to peace across the Middle East and deter uneducated extremist Muslims from ever rioting again.

"Moral clarity", eh? for two people who are literally destroying the US's reputation abroad I'm not exactly sure what they want to see, aside from more bible thumping.

As Americans have their idiots and fanatics, so does the ME. And as Americans are utterly unable, probably unwilling as well, to stop their idiots, people in Arab countries are even less able to rein theirs.

Moral Clarity equals letting Israel start another war in the Middle East that leads to deaths of thousands, as with the phony Iraq invasion that Bush did in part to appease Israel. And because he said God told him to attack Iraq.
These clowns if elected will just push the US down the tubes, like bush almost accomplished with two failed wars, trillions of $s wasted, the fed budget busted after Clinton left it in balance, and of course a near depression in 2008.
Only super rich people and the racist obama derangement crowd are going to vote for the Romboid. If you make $250k a year and consider yourself middle class, as the Romboid said yesterday, then vote for the rich person pet candidate.

Empty words from empty suits.
Only America-haters would take these 2 clowns seriously.
Thankfully, they've both only got a handful of weeks left in the poliical spotlight before the GOP's next drubbing at the polls.

Easy for Romney and Ryan to make these statements when they have no responsibilty for the consequences. People's lives depend on every decision and word when you're the president.
2
SushiSake3
No, but Romney's actually correct.
Until now, 'moral clarity' GOP-style has been:
Invading countries based on entirely false pretences.
Calling for nations like Iran to stop making the bomb while supporting regimes like Israel that already have it.
Invading countries and having only a PowerPoint presentation on how to rebuild them.
PromotIng 'peace' and 'freedom' while creating the exact opposite through unjust invasions and supporting dictators.

Moral Clarity? Click these links above. Moral Clarity has to start within himself. No lies, please.

The only reason Mitt Romney is concerned about foreign policy is because most of his money is in some offshore account so he can avoid taxes.
Mitt "Hey, that's my money over there"
Mitt Romney doesn't deserve to be President.
Invest in America, and buy American.
Don't listen to this tax evader.

When is Mitt Romney going to apologize to the ME for botched U.S. foreign policy that has caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocents?
His 'no apologies' line is simply extreme arrogance wrapped up in complete ignorance, and is a threat to global politics.
He needs to apologize for this, too.

Gee, who could have known that Obama's ME foreign policy of portraying America as an Eeeevil Empire and begging our attackers for their forgiveness wouldn't work?

I wonder if the campaign purposely had Ryan play the "clarity" card, and not Mitt? In addition, Mitt using the expression "extraordinarily troubling and confusing" to describe anyone but himself is extrarodinarily troubling and confusing! Desparate times call for desparate measures, I guess!

Romney is all about the clarity. No mixed messages there.

While embassies burn and American diplomats die in the ME at the hands of Islamoterrorists, Obama continues having a good time, cracking jokes with late night TV hosts, singing love songs with Boyance and showing off his def moves on stage with Jay Z.
Heh, nothing serious ever goes on in his happy world.

You gotta love a guy that pushes for 'clarity' but will not make clear his past or his positions on any issue!
Voting for these nutjobs would be like hiring an employee who promises to fill out a resume AFTER being hired. They are not clear on ANYTHING, and have no right to demand clarity of others, 'moral' or otherwise.

RR,
You might want to read the news occasionally as your comments clearly show that you do not understand what Obama is doing. So far Obama has not taken a vacation after reading a report that OBL as getting ready to attack the USA as your former hero, and now totally ignored by even the republicans, Bush Junior did. But maybe you consider 9-11 to be of the good old days of republican control.

The Islamists are doing very well under Obama's leadership (Egypt, Iran, Syria, Pakistan, Afghanistan....). Even ABC just has a headline on "what is Obama's Middle East policy?" Obama told Spanish news that "Egypt is not an ally, but not an enemy of the U.S." Later, state Dept. corrected by saying " Egypt is a non Nato ally of the U.S.".?? Peace train is coming?

If you are blaming this to Obama, then you are fulfilling terrorists objectives.
These terrorist groups are actually trying to test water to see if they can take over the weak and young governments. US is now being used as a scapegoat in the ugly process.

Please read the sacred books of Islam for better insight into the reality of Islam, especially the life of prophet Mohammed. The second guess and wishful thinking on Islam problem, only lead to more mess. Any important document were missing during Libya attacked? especially Libyans who working for the U.S.? If so, more cordinated bloodshed to come. Like it or not, Islamofascist is alive and active with global watching outreach capability.

@Bgood41, the truth of matter is that we cannot kill ideology.
I would like to recommend a book titled "Why We HATE" written by Rush Dozier , Jr. who is a Harvard scholor, Pulizer nominated journalist. He has testified before congress and lectured in Smisonian Institution and universities on variety of topics including evolution, emotion, science and public policy. His writing on nuclear nonproliferation is the best by the United Nations Association. It will give you a great insight in ideology, emotion, religion, hate, and global conflict for this topic..
1
zurcronium
Global,
If we eliminate hate then the republican party would evaporate. They hate minorities, other religions, the truth, the present, the past, the future, any progress, reality, but mostly they hate Obama. So they blame him for a movie from some shady source financed in a shady way.
Obama cannot undo decades of American failures in the ME and North Africa, like the Shah of Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Ethiopia and on and on and on.
If the USA could be a fair broker on ME issues instead of an echo chamber at best and active participant at worst in the destructive apartheid policies of Israel the USA could recover. But that is not going to happen anytime soon. And if Romney wins its another war in the ME sponsored by by the USA that would be against US interests.

@zurcronium, Click the link listed above. This is a good reason for me to fight with Obama.
Romney is a wrong person to be a president in this crisis.. I remember how US became the most respected world leader from the worst world leader after Obama took office in Washington. I felt anger and hate towards Americans whenever I was in overseas while Bush was in Washington. I listen to their reasons why they hate Americans. I understood why. America needs to be a country of humility. We need to learn a tolerance of different values, ideology and principals to accept others. We need to work on that. That's America I believe.

I think Romney should probably wear a blue tie when he makes his concession phone call to president Obama this November.
The big money now is on whether his campaign will even survive until election day or implode before.

@SushiSake3
Today, Sheldon Adelson, the conservative billionaire Las Vegas casino owner, has pledged to give up to $100 million -- whatever it takes -- to defeat Barack Obama.
If Romney wins, he has already calculated his $100 million will give him a 2000% returns in just 60 days.

Saw the new superpac ad on TV earlier tonight.
First cut: Hillary Clinton's statement about Obama not being ready to take the 3 a.m. phone call
Second cut: the reports of Obama going to bed early on the night the embassies in the ME were burning
Final cut: Obama on stage singing with Boyance and dancing with rapper Jay Z with the word "Priorities" superimposed over the image.
Heh, this ad will be running during all the college and pro football games this weekend. Lots of voting Americans will be seeing this one.

how short the GOP's memory - how unreal to blame the disastrous payback for the Bush Years on Obama, how out of touch with reality - beyond irony and into the surreal they have leapt. Who could possibly be stupid enough to swallow such trite manure from the Republicans?
Obama is mostly guilty of being weak and not really doing a great deal - but the man has inherited a mess that took 20 years to make and most that at the hands of the Bush family and the neo-cons. If only the man would lead! The alternative to Obama is a party over run with religious zealots and half-crazed neo-conservatives.... Could American politics be any more dysfunctional?
1
SushiSake3
Heh Romeo, if I was backing a loser like Romney, I'd probably be hyperventilating about an ad too. :-)
Your boy's goose is cooked. Do you have any coping strategies in place for when the Ryan/Romney get monstered in November?
Romney will no doubt retire to one of his holiday homes, but I doubt even he knows which one.

Instead of just spewing hate and constant liberal rhetoric, how about taking a look at our spineless president that has to sit back and apologize to these thugs? But since Obama is now back tracking, they want to shove the blame on Romney? This time, the media bias is now full bloom and is totally in the tank for Obama. Again, nice try. American haters, maybe not. Liers and cheaters 100% No objectivity!

According to Wesley Clark-a former commander of NATO believe that these terrorists groups in the ME are provoking and escalating a rage and anger towards Americans. It is their coordinated plan to trap American troops there. Hope Americans are not stupid enough to bite this invitation.or temptation. We are not going fulfill their objectives. We are smarter. Well, take it back, maybe Romney will send our troops there.

Lol!!!! You clearly dnt have any credible argument.
You claim I'm repeating 'constant Liberal relhetoric' when in the same sentence you repeat constant conservative rhetoric by claiming your president is 'apologizing.'
LOLOL!!
It doesn't get much funnier than that.
When and how did your president apologize?
C'mon, yuu claim it - time to show it.

Even the hardcore Christians agree Romney doesn't have any ideas.
WASHINGTON -- Bryan Fischer, of the American Family Association, a conservative Christian group, slammed Mitt Romney on Friday for running a “lackluster campaign” void of any ideas and accused the campaign of “putting a bag over” vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan’s head. “Mitt Romney right now should be leading by 10 or 15 points and the fact that he’s not is Mitt Romney’s problem,” Fischer told reporters at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C. “It’s because he’s running such a lackluster campaign that has been so vague on ideas. What plan is he offering the American people?”
“The question that conservative voters are asking: What does Mitt Romney stand for?” he said. “We know what Paul Ryan stands for. That’s why we were excited when he came on board, but the question remains what does Mitt Romney stand for.” “Take the bag off of Paul Ryan’s head,” he added.
Fischer also stated that should Romney lose in November, conservatives “will be done ... finished.” In such a case, he called for the GOP to immediately get behind Rick Perry and start planning for 2016. “If Barack Obama wins this election, the Republican Party as we know it is finished,” Fischer said. “It is dead, it is toast, you can stick a fork in it.”
Heh. :-)

I thought Obama has made his moral stance crystal clear already: Secular governments are bad, islamist fundamentalists are good. Or why is he working so hard to support every islamist insurgency across the Middle East.
1

WilliB
Name the president who outed Saddam Hussein.
And what an irony from the right. An insinuation (ever growing) that Obama is against secular governments/dictatorships, but conspires to support Islamic fundamentalist terrorist hoods abroad. While at home Obama is accused by these same people that he's a secularist who's got it in for religious folk. What fuels this hatred of Obama? Maybe it's something in the way he moves . . .
1

Romney should take his shirt off and go hunting in the wilderness like Putin. That would really scare those evildoers and let them know who means business. Or maybe Ryan, since he's the fitness Robin. Maybe pick up a few female voters with that trick too. Women always go for the tough guys who save the girl from Islamic terrorists.

I think you are missing the point. Either you support democracy and human rights or you don´t. If you had free elections Islamist parties win. Then to boycott the results and talk about wanting to spread freedom and human rights is double talk.
1
globalwatcher
@sailwind, do you want to share the evidence to the world? No speculation please. The speculation like yours got us into trouble in the ME when Bush (sr) was in Washington.
The hate among Arab towards Americans and the Western world started long time ago in history. If you are not a history book reader, I would like to recommend for you to watch a movie "Lawrence in Arabia" that will tell you how the Northern Africa was divided. It is a rough summary of Arab history, but it will provide you a great understanding.with empathy.

They are not boycotting the results, what they are saying is that they disagree with the policies of the newly elected party and are going to curtail their relations with them as long as they have such policies that is not boycotting nor is it double talk especially if the newly elected party plans on stifling freedom and human rights.
