    Murdoch has publicly backed Brooks, who insists she had no knowledge of wrongdoing.

    She deserves to lose her job. She is also responsible. If she knew, she did nothing - shame on her. If she didn't know - shame on her.

    What kind of editor can she be when, faced with the kind of information a reporter cannot easily get, she did not ask and check and verify and double-check said reporter's sources?

    Not a very good one at all, is the answer.

    The decent employees within the Murdoch criminal empire deserve the chance to work for an ethical organization.
