The passive voice is a standard in propogandist western reportage. Also not saying who is doing the shelling (meaning it is the Kiev regime doing it.). "Russian backed" is another propaganda ruse, implying the questionable presumption that Russia is somehow commanding the rebels. The indepeindence revolt is roots in long conflicts with the Kiev government. These came to a head with the U.S. backed coup.

All well and good, but I once again caution these rebels that any attempt to break out of Donbass will be met with real weaponry and solidiers via NATO and not the starving troops they have been fighting up until this point.

The only language Putin and his tugs know, aggressiveness (=bullying).

NATO started it all but by use of proxy that even with the 10 to 1 strenght is not able to win and that is not because of Russians but because of who is right and who is wrong. While Russain speaking Ukrainians are fighting for their rights and their survival Kiev 160 thousand strong army is fighting against their own will for the foreign interests. Why would they kill their Slavic brothers for some far away English or German speaking Political interests.

Kabukilover, spot on. The Kiev regime should be called "US-backed coup plotters", that would be fair.

questionable presumption

Ha. I like that you frame Euromaidan movement as a "western backed coup" while trying to make the secession movement in Donbas sound wholly indigenous. Next you'll tell us that Russia had nothing to do with the annexation of Crimea. Let's get real, shall we? The West backed Euromaidan and the new Poroshenko government because it was/is in its interests to do so. Likewise, Russia backed the corrupt Yanukovych regime and the Donbass rebels because it was/is in its interest to do so. Both pro-western and pro-Russian movements have significant popular support in the west and east of Ukraine respectively. I'm not sure why you should be especially outraged by one side meddling in Ukraine but perfectly fine with the other one doing the same.

OK OK - thank you soo much - it's 80 % truth !

Great !

I have explained this soooo many times : there are TWO Ukraine - North-West and South-East

Totally different in economy culture population political views

So it's a really hard job to keep them together

But what we should do now - when in full swing burning the interethnic conflict ???

Where is solution ???

There can also be no mistake about Russia’s role in the escalation of violence, which is causing suffering and death among those Russia has claimed it wants to protect,” she said.
