  Russia and China are both opportunistic authoritarian regimes. They operate states control media limiting freedom of their own citizens. Do they really care about the world at large? They can not compete on the plain field with the free world. Their best solution is by relying on weapons and using the extreme nationalism factor to control the mass. And when they start losing their edges; they joint forces against a defense shield! I repeat their words "it is our own internal policy of defensive nature". Now, I am speaking Chinese and Russian Wow.....

  Russian will change more with their opposition parties/globalised interdependence.

  China will change via globalised trade in which they are very interdependent. Globalisation in russia/china never have been higher, with creations of russian/chinese new billionaires.

  World at large need to solve peace/economic problems in afghanistan/iraq/palestine, which is main world problem.
