“I think there needs to be a strong, unified response to .............. to send the message that this kind of behavior has no place in the 21st century,”

I can think of a number of answers that would be more appropriate than Russia.

There was an interesting interview on Fox, of two Americans (a 12 year-old girl and her mom) describing their experience in Georgia. I'm not sure whether their statements are true, but the interviewer's reaction is most telling!

Hey, at least the Russians left the regime intact.

"Russian tanks and troops continued to control a wide swath of Georgia"

And if they continue that much longer they're going to find they are not popular.

It's like you walk in to discover some guy on top of your partner. You ask him to pull out and leave, and he responds: "I will start leaving on Monday, depending on your attitude."

Sorry, mate, but it's time to leave, like NOW!!!!

Good Vid Sabiwabi... It made me want to go out and become a defender of the Earth... I think they will accept my application into the US Army soon. I'll keep you posted. We are few but strong...!!

Russia probably wanted to go all the way but had to cave in to international pressure in the end. My guess is that they're going to linger for a while to get some sense of satisfaction.

Madverts I've heard that there is quite a bit of damage. $100s-of-Millions of damage. That was just getting in. When they pull out, if they demonstrate what other countries have done when they pulled out like when Saddam pulled out and set all the Kuwait oil wells. There is a oil pipeline that could be destroyed. So we'll see how it goes, but the pull out could be more costly than we can imagine.

    Let's pray for peace. < :-)

Don't believe a Russian when he tells you he's going to pull out.

    Apparently.
