It is interesting to see how far the Russians have fallen. Back in the old Soviet days they owned this country. If you go back not even 20 years you'll see history of the Soviets killing peace protesters in Georgia. Now they watch as their troops are killed by this tiny nation, and they are forced to sign a peace agreement and pull back. Now the best they can hope for is to maybe keep some soldiers in Georgia proper to save face.
By the way, did the Ukraine let the Russian ships return? They said before that they might not allow it. I guess in the end they decided that Russia's humiliation at the hands of another former Soviet ally was sufficient. Or maybe it was Poland signing a defensive pact with the US that put enough egg on the Russian faces? I'm betting Russia misses the glory days when they owned all of these countries.
It's time for the the US and NATO to move in and build up Georgia again to an even better position. It's not like Russia will be able to do anything about it.
Medvedev, georgia and ossetia, there is no need for further nonsense by all parties. Time to again build back the past peace in georgia, ossetia and russia.

The whole Russian and Georgia War.
The United States and Poland and the Czech Republic agreements.
Busy this weekend so I won't expound, but these catylyst are going to continue to add fuel to the fire of contention and hate.
Remember condi, Russia will have to pay for this, (paraphrased).
We need cool heads and bright minds right now. Not more bravado.
Have a good weekend. < :-)

adaydream; goddam it, more propaganda.
Condi and Bush made sure the invasion was ended, and the Georgians can live in freedom.
That is not bravado, that is diplomacy and strength. B Hussein O would have been to scared to intervene.
