  Thr Russians listened to Cheney and did as ordered. The threats by the US had Putin worried.

  I knew they would back down if we forced their hand , they are just bullies and cowards.

  The Russians kept their word.

  There are actually about 190 Russians troops at check-points in Georgia and have agreed to remove them as soon as the UN gets 200 multinational troops to relieve them. < :-)

  This was a victory for US diplomacy and threats of retaliation.

  The Russians have left early , to keep in our good books.

  The Russians are the big threat always, they do not change their ways.

  My country was divide in 2 by Russians, they controlled half with iron fist and everone lived poverty.

  Europe must become strong to deter the ambitous Russians.

  Germany must make massive investments into military, so we can defend Europe from this menace.

  This century means , we must have massive military like America to scare Russia and other threats.

  One shouldn't be quite that categorical in assessment, comrade. Need to remember we must always leave some wriggle room;Reports are already saying Putin's forces leave behind not a few ecological disasters in Georgia. Must be some way to blame the Bush administration.
