Technically if North Korea "disappeared" then south Korea would become an island.......

The SK government just needs a new topic to be on the news, the ferry thing is becoming a headache for them.

It's about time. When NK finally is taken down and all their atrocities are revealed in full, the whole world will look back at these years in shame for not acting sooner.

Doubt it. Didn't happen with genocide in the Balkans or Rwanda or Darfur or anywhere else.

I'd say the one with concentration camps.

It's good to finally hear the south speak up. You always hear the north's rhetoric & the south says nothing . All the useless wars we have going on in the world, that would be a useful one .

"When NK finally is taken down and all their atrocities are revealed in full, the whole world will look back at these years in shame for not acting sooner."
Especially the Chinese, who were responsible for stopping U.N. forces from eliminating the North Korean government, which they were on the verge of doing, during the Korean war.

If North Korea said the same, I believe the translation would go something like "We will wipe them off the map".

Serrano is right about China.

Despite the belligerent rhetoric from Seoul, the collapse of North Korea would terrify them along with the Chinese. The prospect of millions flooding over the border into China and South Korea who could also be faced with the question of reunification ( an economic burden most of its citizens don't seem to be willing to shoulder ). Perhaps having lardarse running his kingdom isn't as abhorrent to them as they let on.

When North Korea invaded in 1950, the South Koreans were ill prepared to defend themselves. When the United States got involved in the war, we handily pushed the North Koreans all the way back to the Yalu River. It was only after the Chinese Army got involved that the war stalemated at the 38th Parallel. Concurrently, the air war was fought by Soviet pilots against the U.S. Air Force. Kim Jong Un is a mentally ill recluse who doesn't command the respect his grand father,Kim II Sung, did. The only threat this guy poses is to his own people.

When North Korea finally falls, All those beautiful North Korean women and men will be free to live as they wish. With Basic principles such as earning a life and living that life. As for that fat little toad sitting in power with his Harems and power hungry crazed notions of war. A well calibrated rifle outta take care of him. I dont usually like to go the way of violence but someone as dangerous and unhinged as that man should be given the same treatment Saddam and his sons were given, hopefully with a nice tight rope.

Better phrasing should be, "North Korea's government should cease to exist." And I know there are hundreds of millions of people that be for that. A single Korea lead by South Korea would be a much better Korea. Although China will still be making territorial disputes along the Korean border.

You forgot to mention the other 20 countries of the UN forces.

Whoa, good thing somebody cut him off before he blamed the ferry disaster on the Norks...

I wouldn't mind seeing the back of the pudgy Un once and for all. But I agree that the rhetoric from SK is probably designed to divert attention from the ferry disaster by provoking a NK response. I guess we'll see what happens next. I imagine NK will pitch a royal fit.

When NK disappears, then SK disappears as well because then there's just K (whether China absorbs NK or the Koreas merge, either way there is no "South" anymore)

Japanese people lost enjoyment of guessing what kind of next insult from S. Korea. NK may be thinking China will help to attack USA?
