Did these guys even bother to look up where the hell this port city is? It's 270km from the North Korean boarder, which is farther than Fukushima is from Tokyo. Even if the North uses something twice the size of the Tsar Bomba, the drill will not be under the test "cloud", nor will they have any significant fallout (perhaps a few milliseconds of background radiation based on previous tests)

It doesn't mean a cloud from a fallout.

@basroil
The 'cloud' is metaphorical, not radioactive.

You have to conduct these drills periodically. Surface ships working with a submarine is not something that comes easily. You have to practice to avoid accidents. With crew turnover, even a ship or boat that has the procedures "nailed" will need regular refresher training. North Korea can call it "warmongering", but it goes on all the time and North Korea's attempts to make it about "them" are pitiful.

North Korea reminds me of a small fiercely barking Chihuahua that was forced into a corner with no way to escape. But they are entertaining, you got to leave it to them!

Not too sure if the yapping Chihuhua is the best way to describe the DPRK, but me thinks that all that yapping is one day really gonna piss off the USA, and South Korea and when these 2 start to BITE, China will just let them do what they have to do, because the Chinese are only about $$$$$, they want to be able to connect roads, railroads, etc..from China all the way down to Pusan and not only sell cheap Chinese goods to South Korea but to JAPAN and to the rest of the world, so hopefully these fools in Pyongyang will start to get a hint that it is time to join the rest of the "modern" and "civilized" world.
