Good there is closure to this issue. Not a good result, but at least closure.

claps hands rest in peace, you died fighting for your beliefs. I do not have any basic disagreement. You fought to free the Kuwait people from Iraqi oppression.

At least the family finally knows his fate.

But an investigation still continues. Can't assume that was his first and only "resting" place. He could've been taken some place else before being buried there.

Welcome back home, Capt. Speicher. RIP.

USAInJspan speaks like he knew rthe pilot and RomeoRamenII refers to a man who has been dead 18 years as if he is still alive.

Pretty weird ways to pay respect to the man...

It's nice to know that the Capt. and his family will be able to have a proper funeral.

    R.I.P. Captain.

The Pentagon and the U. S. Navy left Navy pilot Michael “Scott” Speicher to die in Iraq, in there jubilence to pound their little fist and tout their war record. their record proves that they care for the war lobbiest and not for the troops.

Don't ever forget dick cheney reporting his death. they didn't even verify his death.

I'm glad that this is resolved, but who knows, he might have come home alive. < :-)

I naturally wouldn't expect you to understand, but he's a household name for us tailhookers and a member of the Navy family, past and present. Nothing weird about it.
