Sarkozy and Brown are a pair that can't beat Ace high. These two couldn't manage a Denny's much less two of the western world's largest economies.

I've got nearly all of my funds in tax havens to keep them out of the reach of grasping Gordon Brown.
Meanwhile, people like Lord Rothermere, a UK citizen born in the UK, full-time UK resident, owner of UK businesses and properties, somehow manages to maintain non-domicile status and pays almost no UK tax. How is this possible? Why did the Inland Revenue boss Dave Hartnett personally intervene to prevent the loss of non-domicile status for Lord Rothermere. I imagine Brown was at the bottom of it, yet he has the cheek to lecture "tax havens" about their behaviour.

they could simply institute a flat tax and be done with it. taxing our incomes and savings is just another form of indentured servitude. at a certain point people will get fed up 1) quit working and let the government take care of them 2) form underground economies 3) overthrow their governments peacefully or through violence.

Man, just love how politicians come up with all these bright ideas, only to learn that they can't be afforded so then they instead of going back to the drawing board on how to bring money in, they must go after everyone working outside their home country and tax the crap out of us.
Don't push agendas you can't afford!
