Sounds like an intelligent and pragmatic person taking advantage of his name and family resources, along with the controversy generated by his age. Playing to pro-business forces and having the political patronage of his father, I'm guessing he'll do well!

Jean Sarkozy said that whatever he accomplishes in life, “My legitimacy will always be on trial.”

    Maybe he won't accomplish anything.

EPAD’s outgoing chairman, 65-year-old Patrick Devedjian, must step down because he has reached the mandatory retirement age.

Wow, why can't that happen here. There would basically be no govt. as they are all really old in general. They force the rest of us to retire, so why don't they?

If he can do it, let him. It is really about who you know and not what you know but then you have to perform. That last part gets over looked a lot.
