Whoa! China and Russia didn't find this hopeless group of rebels to their liking? Surprising.

Putin must be throwing a fuss. The Mullahs (in Iran) too. . . . Now lets sit back and see what the Houthis can do. & with US congress to have their say in any iranianan "deal", things are not going as planned for that zealous regime.

Great shot above.

Wait a minute! I'm confused, should I feel good about this article because the Saudi's are attacking the Houthis, who were attacking Al-Qaida, who were attacking Saudi Arabia and the US positions there?

Or should I try to tell the truth that the Houthis are trying to take back control of their country from a US/Saudi puppet? As usual, those puppet masters sitting at the table (UN) get to control the message. Congrats to all you Warmongers.

So AFP, it's Yemeni Shiite rebels now is it? Nice job making the Shiite/Sunni connection there. I'm sure you'll get a lot of knee jerk followers with that one.

The coalition began its campaign after Riyadh feared the rebels would take over all of Yemen and move it into the orbit of Shiite Iran

More BS from the AFP peanut gallery

No, it's easy. The Saudis are attacking the Shiite Houthis who are attacking the Sunni government. Extreme Sunni Al Qaida in Yemen meanwhile have an independent agenda of taking advantage of civil war to further their own gains. IS is recently trying to further upstage them.

Saudi are unwilling to anger Wahabi Sunnis back home, so they are concentrating on the Houthis, but the US is quietly continuing to take out al-Qaida in the peninsula. http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/04/senior-al-qaeda-leader-yemen-killed-strike-150414154922747.html

It's a majority Sunni country, fyi. Points for finding a way to make this all about the US, as everything else in the world is, apparently.

No they're not. Houthis are a Shiite minority in Yemen. It's more a Sunni country than Houthi country.

But here's what's really happening: surprise surprise, oil.

The Sunni Yemenis don't trust the Houthis. The Sunni-dominated southern Yemeni provinces have already announced they won't take orders from a Houthi-led government. But the south is where the oil is, so any group wanting to set up a Yemen government would want control of it, but of course the Sunnis won't want to give it up.

So once again, it's a fight for oil. It's to be expected.
