I remain amazed how compasion is even considered toward killers who are old and ailing. These beasts had no compasion when they committed their act. The victims deserve more respect than this. I agree, screw that. Die in prison.

Many people in the Scottish legal profession and lots of the relatives of the victims have grave doubts about this man's guilt.
If he'd been an IRA terrorist murderer he'd have been released long ago under the odious "Good" Friday agreement. His crime ,if he was the culprit,is no worse or better than theirs yet they walked free.

He was sentenced to life in prison. That shouldn't change because he might be close to death. It's illogical.
