This is a geological given, just as ice ages are too. I think a new ice age will create a bigger impact.

Keep in mind that in geological terms, we are still IN an ice age, in it its final phase which will last a couple of millenia. In the warm phases between the ice ages, there were no polar ice caps at all, and places like Canada were tropical.
And yes, most of that happened before there even were any humans.

Agree with Kapuna. "This is natural movement in the height of the Earth’s land surface, which can happen through subsidence, earthquakes or uplift."
This does not sound like a human cause to me.
