The mangled debris of the plane was spotted in the air...

Anyone else think this sounds a little strange? RIP Steve Fossett

No but i think an 'airplane' is strange. Whats an airplane? Is it anything like an 'aeroplane that the wright bros invented all those years ago?

Why? The actual crash area was given low search priority when the search was on. Then a hiker found Fossett's wallet and ID and the plane was not far away from it. Far enough away that the hiker could not see it, but a sweep by air turned it up. And remember, Fossett did not crash land. He rammed a mountainside. There was little left of the plane to spot. --Cirroc

think about this he wasnt even hiding and it took a hiker a year later to find his (id) in the woods.... Maybe we can send that hiker to Afghanistan to find OBL:)

After they do DNA we will know if its him... RIP

Instand death then eaten by wolves. That's how I want to go. RIP, Steve.
