This has a tone similar to Northern Ireland. Catholics againts Christians. Here Muslims against Hindu.

This also has tones of Isreal and Palistine.

Ok, so at least they were peaceful. But why are they seperatists? Same old story different area? Pakistan is already a break off from India. Do these folks want their own Indanistan or something? What is it with Islam and seperatists?

Yes. They are similar in that they both involve Muslim violence against the Infidel.

what a lot of people aren't considering in this situation is how places like this are desired to become seperate. Talking to an Indian friend of mine from the area, he paints a much different picture.

At one point, when Pakistan separated from India, many Muslims moved into the Kashmir area and started to populate it very quickly, and of course that is very possible given the fact that one man can have several wives and dozens of children. The story here is over populate, create an islamic state - nothing more nothing less. I for one praise India for their method for keeping the Kasmir issue somewhat under wraps for the time being. They know all too well, that once a place becomes Islamic, there is not turning back and when one considers Kashmir, they will notice one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Pakistan has instigated this issue as once it is considered separate, it can then be absolved into Pakistan. There is really separatists here, only instigators.
