    Partying, jetsetting, leaders too high up not motivated to lift up the common people? Can we go back to the days when the chieves '/chiefs' huts were only a little bigger? Not too superior?

    I wonder if it was started from fireworks. A friend of mine said that during Christmas they have a lot of fireworks going off to celebrate.

    Disillusioned

    Sad! I was in Manila for Christmas three years ago. It is a fun place if you don't mind crowds and third world infrastructure. I know the area the fire was in and sadly, I am not surprised by the event. I am glad the death toll is only a handful. It could have been much worse.
