    Interesting that there are no responses for this. When this happens in Japan it would generate over 100 responses about how xenophobic Japanese government/society is. But as it is "only" Singapore here, quite striking to see no interest.

    Give it time rjd. Also, finger printing is already done in Japan, as such the foreign population is already accustomed to it.
