Somalia refused the UN's help in the 90s and now it's the toilet it has become so let African nations take care of them. This may be the next Afghanistan if these Islamists gain hold of it.

Somalia didn't use to be an Islamic country, but now they are... Hmm I wonder how that happened. Oh right, there is no Islamic agenda to unite the world into one giant caliphate...

If this country is the toilet of the world (as one poster has said) then just as well no one shaking hands in that country as you can bet they arnt using soap and water after they have been to the toilet.

Leave them to it or let the other african nations deal with it if they feel the need or the desire.

Why? This is simply Shariah law. Not different from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Yemen, Northern Nigera, and everywhere else where Sharia is practised.

Quote, Honest Dictator: Somalia didn't use to be an Islamic country...

Yes was already an Islamic country. They had a more mature, friendly, happy, joyful, musical version of Islam.

LOL! No. That is phantasy. Fact is, there are no different version of islam. Islam is islam. There is only one book to believe and one person´s life to emulate.

The difference in islamic countries is the degree to which they implement Shariah. 100% Shariah implementation leads to Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and now Somalia.

Most people in Indonesia for example would like to think they are believing Muslims. The rest of the world sees them as benign or friendly Muslims, doing Islam a service by providing an example of how Islam can exist harmoniously in the world.

Wahabis, Al-Qaida, extremist Sunni Muslims might disagree, and would like to get in there and ratchet up the tension and paranoia and fear of... well they pay lip service to Allah, but not of Allah so much as of these new would-be extremist leaders themselves, and their terror/informer network.

Indonesia does not have Sharia, with the exception of the province of Aceh. And in Aceh they are introducing laws that are very similar to those in Somalia. Shariah is Shariah, wether in Somalia or in Indonesia.
