Yes goddog, This is a job for Blackwater!! If they could get this job I believe they could do a better job of protecting these ships than the present group of weak nations that don't go hardcore on the pirates. Paying ransoms only encourages more such acts of piracy if it's know to be profitable.
Unfortunately I believe we'll have to sacrifice some crew at some point to make our point that piracy is not worth the risk. I'd take the weak UN backed Somali government's word to heart and shell the heck out of the Somali coast. I think they'd go back to fishing as soon as they got another boat made. It seems they'll only get the message when we start playing handball.

Reading this article almost makes me get a sense of what it was like living in the 1700-1800's when Caribean Piracy was in it's hay day.
